Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
So far they haven’t found a way to keep his attentiveness focused on one the other or both. What makes them think they’re going to to better chasing him down? What makes them even imagine they are remotely able to focus their attention on him, when they’ve just projected their own ways of dealing with the world on him so far?
So they leave the room to look for Piro, he sees them leave, and he returns to class as if nothing ever happened. I hope he reads the first time I ever essay. I would like to “hear” it.
Oh, please. He’s a college age student who decided to ditch class to get away from Luann and Tara—not some kindergartner who has wandered away from the playground.
Mrs Horner doesn’t even try to hide the fact that Luann is her favorite student, or she knows that her stories are always funny and are a good way to start the class. I like how Luann asks for permission to go out for Tara too, the two play to have a little rivality, but they know they have to be together to help him. About Tara, maybe she should have avoided saying out loud they had to run after her cousin. Also, seeing how Piro seems to be waiting for them, maybe he just feels down and wants to talk to them without anyone around.
Now Piro will have to quit this class, since everyone, including the teacher, has been informed that he’s a head-case. Nothing like being labeled “acting strange”. In the meantime, he’s making sure Tara and Luann can find him, because he’s ready to be fussed over (unfortunate that they ran in the wrong direction). Does the term “hook, line and sinker” come to mind?
Since he has to quit the writing class he should sign up for Theatre, since he’s so fond of drama. Bernice has this guy’s game pegged.
Hah! What would be really funny to me is if it turns out that Piro simply left because he FORGOT to write his essay and did not want to be called upon.
All of the wrangling and debate by Luann and Tara would have been for nothing. :)
Of course, the above is only a pipe dream of sorts. There WILL be some “problem” with Piro….. but we will likely never learn about it from HIS perspective. If I remember accurately, I think Piro has said less than five words across the last several strips he has been featured in. I think he is working to be a new, albeit dour/sour…. Marcel Marceau. :)
Maybe he will run into Bernice. Strange as it seems, he seems to like and trust her. And maybe for once she won’t act like a know it all idiot and will just listen.
The plot thickens! We need some new male characters in Luannaland for the ladies, and I’m still waiting for the graduate student who would fit perfectly with Bernice.

Will they ever leave this guy alone?
It’s none of their business where he went. They should get back to class and give Piro some space .
.
So do we think they will find him?

I think we have two girls who don’t want to concentrate on getting an education and getting a life. BTW Piro has ALWAYS acted strange.

SHEESH.
Old Starhead has gone from “lab rat” to “lost pup” with these two.
I’m surprised they aren’t screaming “Here Piro!” At the top of their lungs.
Here’s hoping that while the gals are wandering aimlessly about the campus, Starhead sneaks back in class. ;-)

Why were they even asking? Why not just leave?

Maybe Piro goes back and enjoys the class in peace i.e. without Luann and Tara in constant pursuit.

Neither one of them is bright enough to find him. They can’t find their nose in spite of their face. With friends like them, I’d hide too.

It seems Piro could have just moved to another seat in the classroom instead of leaving the class entirely.
