That look in her eye in P.3. smells like some more laws are about ta get broked. Now if Bowling alley can sneak up and start the car and floor the engine we could see how B.O. rides the rocket (flame).
I’m imagine the call going out to the officers in the black and white units.
“Calling all cars! Be on the lookout for a stolen car. License plate… Oh, H3ll, It’s the Batmobile, people. The freakin’ Batmobile! No, I am not drunk or making this up.”
Is Batman a ‘real’ character in Dick Tracy or a fictional character? There have been references to super villains and super heroes. Indeed Vitamin’s wife is related to Margo Lane and Lois Lane who are in relationships with men in capes (the Shadow & Superman). I’m not going back to look for it, but we’ve had a reference to a Batman villain as a ‘real’ person.
So, if Batman is ‘real’ in Tracy world was this an older model he donated to the Con for a charity raffle? If his identity in unknown to IRS can he take the charitable donation as a tax write off? Was this a ‘real’ Batmobile? Or, are fictional television shows about real people allowed in Tracy world? I guess we do allow pseudo-historical fiction of real people in our world, see The Crown.
“GEEZ a SKELETON! Looks like the Riddler was waiting to jump out at Batman, but then the car went into storage for a year, then was sold. Er…riddle me this: What doesn’t move, and YOU RE going to have to scrape out of the trunk for me if you want a ride?”
Maybe the original was supposed to have a ginormous trunk back there, but with the jet turbine exhaust dead center in the rear, that should be the engine back there with the forward compartment filled with bat gear for all the special features. Of course, if this is to be a prop in Tracyville, then there probably really isn’t a turbine engine. I wonder if Mike knows whether this is supposed to be fully functional making “Hatman” fiction land a reality in Tracyville or not.
GROAN I got through Panels 1&2 only to be smacked with another HATMOBILE JOKE IN PANEL 3. Mike could run the funniest joke in the world in to the ground until it was as popular as Hitler. (BTW – “Hatmobile” never was popular – or even a joke.)
1-CLEANCUT: WOWZER! When I was 13, I used to go straight to Pound Town every time I saw the Batmobile on TV! Uh oh…looks like it still has that same effect. CROPPIE: Don’t scare the nice man, honey.
2-BO: No worries. I have the same problem when I see a goat. Here – I’ll get that.
3-CLEANCUT: Ugh. You just cured my “problem”. Are you unable to bend your knees? BO: Shore I can but I got used to this position in prison. Just a habit I guess.
CROPPIE:Psssst. So in the hole with Bowling League or just in the trunk with him?CLEANCUT:Trunk. I lost the shovel
Really sad is, once upon a time, this particular Batmobile was once the 1957 Ford Futura – a fascinating concept car, though only one was ever produced. It sat, rotting, when George Barris picked it up and transformed it into what some of us think was the coolest Batmobile on screen – even if the TV show was often goofy.
To all Tracy readers, MadCave, an “independent” comic book publisher, has obtained a license for a “new” Dick Tracy comic. The first story (?) is set just after WWII, so the most advanced gadget wil be the Wrist Radio.

Good morning™, everyone!
That’s a quick act they went into, but they might get cuddly if they want to sit in that one empty seat.

You know, this would be a lot funnier without BO’s malaprops. As if we don’t recognize it!

That is a big trunk. Looks like enough room for both the suitcase and B.O. Now Croptop and Dave need to give B.O. a quick hard shove…

So, if B.O. buys into her story park was once a residential area. With the house gone, how can one retrieve family photos? Mike, make it make sense.
