Officer West to the rescue (his name is on his uniform name tag). This does seem to be a fairly deserted part of the woods which we’ve seen in some other story (I forget which), but B.O. can head home now with the suitcase in the trunk.

I could almost see this cop as a new addition to the cast…

a no-nonsense cop that even puts Tracy to shame…

I wonder if the name of Officer West’s partner is Artemis Gordon.

A possible recurring character? I wonder what Mark thinks of him, especially p2? I say he’s got potential.

On April 27th the Hatmobile was missing a licence plate, but obviously someone noticed because it’s had one each time the rear has been shown since then.

It seems we’re assuming that BO still has the loot in his trunk. That would make sense: given that it happened, it may have something to do with the story. There’s a possibility that Croppie grabbed the case out of the trunk when they am-scrayed. That would make this chance meeting nothing more than an opportunity for Mike to continue to devolve the strip into rank fandom. So this is the test: if the loot is in the trunk, it’s not as bad as it could be. If the loot isn’t in the trunk, Mike’s lost it.

I realize it’s not him, but he looks a little bit like Johnny (the MAN) Adonis. B.O. may have unintentionally avoided a carjacking by those 2. Mr. Copper may have done him a huge favor. Or… he may have done THEM a favor. :D
