And lots and lots of them said the earth is flat! Oh, wait, that’s most human beings for most of history. But what about the ones who said disease is caused by demons? Oh, right, that’s human beings too. Oh, and the ones that said it’s OK for people to own other people? Hmm, that’s humans as well. Seems like maybe the human beings don’t really score that well on the test of giving or not giving bad answers. As in, why would you believe an AI that tells you that smoking causes cancer when you’ve got highly reliable humans who run tobacco companies telling you the opposite?
Artificial Intelligence has been the stuff of science fiction for decades: in sentient computers, robots, androids and gynecoids, holograms and such, but now that it is becoming real, I find it disturbing, humans have to create it, the base programs at least, and I don’t trust humans.

Birds do it (bees do it , uh, never mind). Anyway that’s what a gizzard is.

Small rocks? No. Pop Rocks? Yes!

Lots of people eat Grape Nuts cereal. In my opinion, small rocks is a step up from that.

Salt IS small rocks.

Did it say you to haves stone soup too?

AI will now tell Brewster that he needs to be drinking bleach with those rocks to help digest them.

Brewster is also putting glue on his pizza.

SNL skit from way back, commercial for Quarry, breakfast cereal mined from a quarry. “I like it because it stays crunchy in milk”

If AI would tell you to jump off a cliff…

Eat scones, not stones!

Birds eat small rocks, which are retained in the gizzard and aid in breaking down food… Maybe AI thought a chicken had typed the question.

Carbonates, phosphates, or silicates? One must be careful about what one eats.

Brewster: you should try rock salt, rock candy sticks, chocolate rocks, or pop rocks!
jmcenanly 18 days ago
That suggestion is literally for the birds.

You’d have to be dumb as a box of rocks, and that would make you a cannibal!
Zoomer&Yeti 18 days ago
Then Brewster should have a big, heaping bowl of Quarry. The cereal that’s better for you, because it’s mined.
That’s from an early SNL commercial spoof.

One time on M*A*S*H, Klinger tried to eat a jeep.
Klinger: “You don’t believe I’ll eat this jeep!”
Potter: “Let’s just say I find it hard to swallow.”

You say no one is dumb enough? Brewster is up to the challenge.

Who could have possibly predicted this? I mean, it’s almost as if people listened to terrible advice online even before AI existed!
