It seems Ms. Johnston didn’t know that punchline had already been used in Peanuts years earlier.

Harold was defeated by William of Normandy at Hastings in 1066. Harald of Norway was defeated by Harold at Stamford Bridge about three weeks prior.

Harold is the H in Jesus H. Christ.

God’s mercy is so NOT mild !!!

Ugh… Please tell me she isn’t like this in movie theaters.

Considering the attitude of many of God’s followers, mercy is in short supply.

So nice to see Praise of God in a comic strip and popular culture in general.

Let’s all work to ensure that we praise God daily in our lives and spread the good news of Jesus Christ everywhere!

April is pre-school age and ready to learn how to behave in public. Not every kid that age can handle it. Most kids that behave badly in public simply have parents that won’t say no to them or teach them any manners. In our family kids went everywhere. Weddings, funerals, restaurants, movies, etc – but if they acted up, parents would tell them to knock it off or the kid would get a whack on the behind, sometimes from more than one relative. Fortunately the warning was usually sufficient because we kids knew our parents meant what they said and they would follow through if we didn’t listen.
