First look Before reading it, I thought those were Calvin’s followers and he is their leader.

I’m reminded of Gary Merrill starring in an episode of ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents’.

It was titled ‘Man With A Problem’ and l won’t spoil the brilliant twist.

The crowd below baying for the poor fella to jump will get your blood pressure up. Why do people do that???

Careful – I hear suicide is a crime punishable by death.

While I appreciate Calvin’s often morbid imagination, this comic is ill conceived. There is a suicide every 11 minutes in the US. To say nothing of glorifying the bloodlust of the crowd. If you, or someone you know… Suicide Hotline dial 988 or 1-800-273-8255

I don’t what the policy is today but hen I held a security clearance for a little more than twenty years, any notions of suicide would get it pulled in a heartbeat.

Not a current ’toon, I know, but encouraging suicide, even in attempted humor, is in very poor taste and judgement.

Some of these trips are so dark that I feel guilty laughing at them.

I have to say, I find this one disturbing. And notice that Hobbes is not in the vicinity; he might have found it disturbing, too.
