Does anyone else think that the drifts in panel 3 look like cat ears?

Even though I’m tired of snow, I’m loving Tommy’s reports this week. I thought yesterday’s was going to be my favorite, but I love this one, too. I think Tommy should win a regional Emmy award for this one!

I wish that I could like this one more than once. That’s the imagination that that I had in NJ.

Our snow stopped late afternoon yesterday. We got another 4 inches or so. Lots of accidents reported everywhere, the roads were bad. I didn’t see a plow until almost noon, but we’re one of the last roads to be done most of the time. And it’s 16 this morning which means it might get to 20 today! Or not…But it sure is pretty out.

Is that a fire hydrant in block 2, or another exploring kitty ?

I wish we would get some snow. It’s been a cold, brown winter here so far.

Bad time for ice creams sales eh.

Oh so magical, I wish it would magically disappear!!!

I love watching the snow as long as I’m watching it on TV or a video and it is nowhere near me.

I think that’s Chitter and Chatter, and it looks like they are ice skating!

OT: FOOD!

Snow is great as long as you have a pair of dependable legs under you. However, snow is genuinely frightening if you are unsteady on your feet.

So poetic! Being an explorer in a snowy landscape is wonderful, as long as one can easily retreat to warmth and a hot beverage.

Snow may never pass this way again…. Tommy is such a delightful soul

And we take him in.

So much joy even the birds are ice skating!

Birds of a feather skate together! What a fun time they’re having.

We are trying to defrost the freezer. We have no choice because the door was having a hard time closing. It’s taking longer than usual because we don’t have heat in that part of the house and baby, it’s cold inside. We just heat bedrooms and bathrooms.

Another magical phenomenon is discovering that under the thin crust there is 3 feet of powdery stuff you have to escape from.

People up north get multiple feet of snow (depending on how far north) and truck through it, and people down south get 3 inches every few years and shut down everything. It’s the same in reverse when it comes to heat.
