Welly, Well, Well. It’s gonna be FUN watching the “TJ Fan Club” explain THIS FUBAR away! Hey Smiley? Why don’t cut your losses and give a shout out to your fellow business associate, Al Gray? After, all He KNOWS people, and he can have this little “project” knocked out in no time! While YOU do that, I’ll call SERVPRO. ;)

In the spirit of the rapidly-disappearing art of daytime drama, I propose the following titles (with apologies to Irna Phillips and other soap creators):

The Young, Restless, Impatient, and Stupid

    Misguided Light

    The Edge of Insanity

As the (Couple’s) World Turns (Upside Down)

The Secret Storm (of Water in the Laundry Room)

One (Less) Life to Live (in Our House)

The Bold, the Beautiful, and the Unthinking

Lookit the way Toni is holdin’ the wrench. Sure fire way to break it off, turnin’ it clockwise. She needs to turn the wrench around and go counterclockwise to loosen it. Too late now.

My neighbor would borrow my shopvac everytime the washer hose broke. I finally talked her into getting stainless steel shielded hoses and a quick shut off valve.

I know it’s just a comic strip, but “mollycoddling” children is at the top of my pet peeve list. I sure wouldn’t want to lose my laundry room for the few times a child is sleeping over. Like we all have been saying, she should “camp out in the living room”. Make it an adventure. This story line is too reaching to be plausible.

Underneath Shannon’s arm – is that a sleeping bag??? Or at least her very own blanket? If so, then why can’t she just… Oh, never mind. Obvious solutions to simple problems are never even to be mentioned in the strip, lest the reason for rejecting them in favor of some multi-layered convoluted scheme then be made to seem like a poor choice.

I’m surprised that the very competent TOni Daytona-DeGroot didn’t think to shut off the water to the washer BEFORE starting to disconnect the hose. Sounds like something Brad, or, TJ would do.

Know it’s a comic and standard fare on strips to have idiots mess with plumbing, but it’s really not that hard. As said above, “the idiots didn’t even shut off the main water valve!”.

This reminds me of that show Zombie House Flipping, where you have four house flippers who somehow manage to forget to turn off the water in EVERY house they remodel. And have ridiculous “accidents” that always happen exactly when a camera is there to record it all.

Okay, that’s enough of that. Now, let’s get back to Tara the art class model, or little Fay working the glamor thing, or Tiffany mistaking Leslie’s intentions as romance rather than revenge. This is summer and the hormones do not turn to Mr. Fix-it adventures. Greg’s biological clock is ticking and soon he may not remember what this romance stuff is all about.
