Ox, my man, you’re in like Flynn. Time to cozy up with the hottest chick in the strip. She needs a boyfriend and you’re the best available.

This reminds me of the evening after the salamander field trip. Tiffany had showered, her hair was wet and she was commando under her robe. Gunther was with her, ostensibly to complete the assignment report. Things got sweaty. Both were embarrassed.

Surprisingly, both Oxford and Gunther, at that time shared the attributes of kindness, careing, straight arrow gentlemen. Only inate intelligence separates them now. How far will GnK take it this time.

Okay, I have a stupid question. If the power is out, where is the backlighting in the doorway in the first panel coming from?

Ox is the man.

Beauty and the beast

We will have to see if Ox is as indispensable when the lights come back on. Or if not, for Ox, it could end up being 50 Shades of Blonde.

So it’s “okay” if THAT guy “protects” you UNASKED, but not that other guy who tried to protect you UNASKED back in the Fall of 2018, huh Tiffany? And that guy caught absolute HELL for it from many the “fans.” (Gee, “Thanks,” Greg and Karen)

All kidding aside. Tiffany has yet another old fashioned, outmoded gentleman standing before her. One with absolutely NO other motive at heart, except looking after her well being. A few people would consider Ox a “gold mine,” and not because of his portfolio. And Tiffany has been complaining about “being alone” for the last six years. Well Today, her “prayers” were answered.

But sadly, there’s going to be a whole lot criticism of poor old Ox based mainly on his “looks” from the “usuals” in this forum. Heck, even Tiffany herself, may shift Ox from a “possible” to “friend who could be My bodyguard,” once this “crisis is over and the “Kip’s” and the “Jack’s” renter her life. Sad.

But today is victory for the “Ordinary Joes” of the VAST Luanniverse.

So Cherish those hugs, Ox.

They may be the last you get for a long, long, time. :(

Ox getting wood?

I like it. Just that simple…….I like it.

Nice art, and I usually don’t focus on it, but here I am because it seems to everything to do with the underlying story. He is a gentleman, she is not looking for a boyfriend (I don’t see sufficient proof); in spite of that are there feelings other than decency here? Ox is very shy, but he has levels. Tiffany seem shallow, but she is developing is more complex that it might seem. What does it mean? Big scary mansion is a good backdrop for their mystery.

Why do i have a feeling that Ann Eiffel has had something to do with a city-wide power failure? My guess is she got drunk, went driving and drove into a power substation and caused a power station to fail. I bet Brad and Toni will get an emergency call to a T.A.

Yesterday it looked like Tiffany had lost 30 pounds. It looks like she found them. Which is why I think gym arc to explain her weight loss is a good idea. Greg really struggles to draw her consistently. Just thin her down and be done with it.

Ox is getting some tonight.

I’m afraid she’s confusing Ox with a teddy bear. A teddy bear doesn’t have a broken heart when she sets him back in the closet.

Not to distract people from Susan and her obsession with “big orgies” and “rewarding Ox” but several people have asked if they are so rich why don’t they have a generator. It is possible that when her dad gets home he says “Tfff, why didn’t you just turn the generator on”? Sorry, it’s a comic strip. I’m looking more for jokes than sex in it.

There is still hope for simple, kind souls…at least in the Luanniverse!

Awwww…. really sweet♡♡♡♡. Ox is really Tiffany’s knight in a shining armor ♡. She looks so happy and calm now ♡.

It’s called starlight

The fair maiden, Tiffany has been rescued by the brave, handsome and noble Sir Ox.

I was hoping for the return of “thin” Tiffany. Her face is round, again. Pity.

Conversely, this arc seems fair.

Ox better hope Tiff’s robe doesn’t “accidently” fall open.

Freya’s day and we have what appears to be an interesting set up. Tiffany being thankful and Ox being Ox. I’m suspecting back to Luann/Bernice/Jack next week with us seeing a little more of Tiffany/Ox in a couple weeks (GnK could follow it up next week but I think better story telling if they give it a break for a week or two). Suspect we’ll see them at K2 and probably bring Les into the mix with TJ being the voice of sanity and wisdom (who’d have thunk!). The interesting piece to me is Ox is pretty blank for what we know. GnK could evolve him to meet Tiffany pretty well if they wanted (better than they could have Gunther though Les is a maybe for adaptability). As I also hinted at it could renew Tiffany/Les/Ox triangle making three triangles going on with Les in two of them (another interesting thought). Could be a good year or more;-)

The Art seems a little different today.

I don’t remember Tiffany ever being so appreciative and kind of loving. Nice!

Where is this going?

I don’t care.

Ox is sweet and his intentions are honorable. He seems truly taken aback by Tiffany’s response. And she IS being grateful in her own unique way. These two are friends! I really appreciate the comment from the poster that ho said not everyone is always looking to score. That’s actually pretty true. Most people want more than that. They want to matter to someone. And tonight both of them do. I hope they just enjoy the moment of friendship and caring.

Tiffany’s arms must be REALLY long.

Way to go Ox: hugging counts as Third Base in the Luanniverse.

Tiffany goes quickly from needy-hysterical to cool-poised. She’s got her hand on her hip while questioning Ox’s reason for helping her. Thank goodness she quit being a smart a$$ and showed some appreciation for a considerate friend.

Just role with it and be yourself Ox. Sometimes nice guy’s do finish first. ;^)

The artwork was especially good yesterday with the shadows, suspense and Tiff’s half darkened frightened face as she approaches the door with a candle. The house is like darkened castle.
