Are Ethel’s Facebook friends asking her to perform miracles?

I still email my late father sometimes, especially on his birthday. And I keep links to all my dead friends. It’s strangely comforting.

I just unfriended a woman on FB that I last saw in high school and didn’t like then. She claimed all Democrats have TDS, and that was reason enough, not that there was any reason to have her as friend in the first place.

The annoying part would be if more of her friends are new friends within the past two years, Opal!

I leave my friends that pass on my page as a memorial to our friendship.

I am old, very old. I thought about setting up a crontab in a small Raspberry Pi server in the basement to email family, friends and officials messages long after my death.

Hilarious.

And I said Donnnnn’t look at Ethyl!

But it was too late, she’d already EXPIRED…

I think I have at least 5 or 6 Facebook friends who have died. I still visit their pages to wish them a happy birthday every year.

Once in a while, I check my departed Facebook friends, as I miss them!

I have a few dead people on my Facebook list and sometimes on their birthday I’ll post how much I miss them.

Classmates dot com still shows pages for some of my high school classmates who have passed away. Makes me wonder who is still paying the yearly dues for their memberships.

disconcerting when you get an email (spam) from someone you know died a while ago.

I saw somewhere that eventually there will be more dead people on Facebook than living. I have 3 dear old friends and family among my friends who are gone. I won’t remove them since I cherish my memories of them. BTW… I gave my niece the right to manage my account when I’m gone. Does everyone know you can do that?

Ethel’s husband, Bernie, wants you to come visit him at his place for the weekend.

And I never wonder why I canceled my FB account…

what’s really creepy is getting friend requests from your friends who are deceased. You know their account has been hacked but it is still creepy.

The perils of social media…

I don’t have any Facebook friends, quite possibly because I am not on Facebook! Couldn’t be happier.

I only have a Facebook account just in case I need to reach a relative. There’s nothing I want to share on that media, even when there’s an event worthy of reporting. The last time I logged on, I noted a young lady that was one of my wife’s employees who died from alcohol poisoning and this mindless media celebrated her birthday.

It’s nice about facebook. You can always find people who are dead but are still on there!

And it’s annoying watching everybody that doesn’t know that she’s dead wish her a Happy Birthday.

If she’s as mean to her friends as she is to Earl, I can see why she has fewer friends.

Opal, stop and get off FB! The owner is a traitor…

I have deleted a few people. I keep getting all sorts of friend requests from strange men, and I delete them all.

I Have a consistent Facebook count of zero. I like it that way!

I should unfriend someone who died 10 years ago, but his posts are still interesting.

I quote a comedian whose name escapes me: “If all these people on Facebook have hundreds of friends, why do they all have to take their own picture?”

Foolishness; maybe even sadder than texting.

And her list keeps growing.

Facebook does have options for someone you designate to handle your FB account should you pass away. Having someone do it after the fact and the account will remain active and whoever will try to fix it will have to jump through hoops of fire. I tried it for my mother.
