Lupin, why are deliberately baiting . . . Oh wait, never mind. I forgot you were Lupin.

Just yesterday we were having a discussion about the classic movie monsters and were they really monsters. Clearly, The Invisible Man is Elvis said so!
Who, in the guise of mild mannered reporter for the Daily Planet, (and Cat Breaking News) our intrepid Winter Ninja calmly sits at the Reporter Desk, relaying the exasperated views of the general reporters. The reporter can suspect, but with no real evidence he is no threat to Lupin the Winter Ninja. The Lupin Clan would be so proud, if you could find them in the linen closet…
But what of the Night Ninja?
Where is Puck the mighty mite of the Puck Clan? Has he slipped back into the shadows, too? Patience is always stressed by Master Po, and Splinter.
Again, not to be confused with Master Poo, from Abbey’s farm and kennel.
Back from back surgery and three weeks in the hospital. So gud to be vertical again.. well, almost, with a slight forward for the time being. Catching up on BCN, the great escape, halloween in the attic, fuzzy blanket time, water cooler prattle, and invisible spy. All SO gud and dearly missed.
With the subject of the missing having come up , Skippers’ avatar reminds me of SquawkTrons’ with the Santa hat on the angry bird. Haven’t seen that person in a while.
Lupin’s never left his desk. Everyone can plainly see that. Pay no attention to the open shirt and untied tie in panel two, Lupin’s clearly been chilling out with the camera not on him.
And I have a bridge in Arizona I’d like to sell you.
I hate to post with anxious news, but I am humbly asking for good thoughts and hopeful prayers for Lupin, please. The past few couple of weeks he has increasingly been having heavy breathing/breathing difficulty, which has gotten sharply worse the last 48 hours. His usual vet took x-rays today after an anti-inflammatory/antibiotics shot days ago did not improve his breathing. It looks like something may be putting pressure on his lungs from below, but it was hard to tell what it might be right now. I’m waiting at the emergency/specialist vet he sent us to a few towns away. They have Lupin in the back and they are trying to give him some help for his breathing and figure out what is going on… A lot has been ruled out; I’m praying for an answer and that it can be something that can help him. Prayers, thoughts, hopes, good vibes, all of it are so appreciated! I will try to keep folks updated if possible. I’m very anxious.
Georgia posted an update: Update: I met with the doctor. Lupin’s lungs are filled with fluid and one of his heart chambers is very enlarged. They are fairly certain he may have had heart disease for a bit. It’s not 100% certain, but signs are pointing to that right now. They are going to sedate him and drain the fluid, he is struggling hard to continue to breathe on his own otherwise at the moment. They’re going to analyze the fluid for more answers, and once it is drained the hope is x-rays may be easier to find answers in too. There are risks with the procedure, but he can barely breathe right now, and he’s only nine, he’s previously been so robust and active. I want to give him this chance and ease the pressure on his lungs right now so he can breathe on his own. He is in an oxygen kennel right now, preparing for surgery, and I’m going to stay while they do the procedure. If it is heart disease, the prognosis most likely will still be not great, but right now we’ve got to get the fluid out of his lungs so he can breathe again and see where he could go from there with treatment and medication. I’m reeling a b

By Willie Nelson, sung by Patsy Cline: Crazy
Crazy, my cat colleague is really crazy
I’m crazy, he drives me so crazy, too
He’s wacko, but you just gotta love him,
But sometimes I thing he goes too far, I do!
…….
Worry, why do I let myself worry?
Knowing he’s gonna do what he’s gonna do?
Crazy for thinking that he could ever behave,
He’s crazy for sure, he’ll act out some more
…….
But we gotta love him for sure!
Crazy for thinking that he could ever behave,
He’s crazy for sure, he’ll act out some more
And we gotta love him for sure!

That image, Lupin leaning back with his arms folded behind his head and his tie undone, would make an excellent T-shirt.

I like how Lupin is getting dressed again. In panel 2 he’s putting his tie around the back of his neck and in panel 4 he’s knotting it. Very debonair.
