This cactus has arms for hugging, not slugging!

Don’t trust it, Elvis!

Experience has taught you well. You are wise to be skeptical of plants with teeth.

Elvis is (as usual) right. Approach that thing at your peril.

Love the label on the graphic. Says it all.

No cat worth their tuna would waste their time on one of those silly scratching posts.

Lupin and Elvis are skeptical. Who knew how quickly they’d join forces after the debacle of the bell?

Once bitten and all that. Elvis should insist Lupin tests it.

Elvis has a point (unlike that suspicious cactus). Listen to him.

Evolution is a marvellous thing.

The face on the cactus is telling Elvis, “Come scratch me, I know you want to!”

In addition to several scratching posts in the house, I have one in the back yard. It looks like an old log from the forest; it is an old log from the forest – nature’s scratching post.

So funny! When I lived in Phoenix, my sister and her husband and their two boys came for a visit. We had those boys so afraid a cacti would bite them that they wouldn’t pose in front of one!! :)

Oh yes, Elvis; you were “trained” and “taught”. By pointy-sharp cactus needles sticking in soft little cat paws, certainly not by heeding anything from the Man or the Woman who tried to spare you such pain!

Gotta agree with Elvis here. Why would you shape something the cats are supposed to touch like something they’re not?

Foxy the Giant Fluffmobile loves cacti. We have big ones in pots, and when she used to go outside at the old apartment she would get in the pot, use the cactus as a grooming tool, then go to sleep. Somewhere I have pictures of her sleeping in the cactus.

This plant is a new cat tree ?Ouch !
