Yeah. Baba is well aware that, in this case at least, it takes one to know one. From the look on her face she is thinking, “Been there, done that.”

But together they are stronger. Baba and Mags are a match for Monty and Wicket, I think. And they have friends. I can’t wait for this story arc to turn from the dark side to the happy dancing around with funny hats on bit. You know there’s gonna be dancing!

Cute. I spy robber mice. Wow what a player that Wicket is. The Owl and the Raccoon Princess? Hmm.

I thought Wicket was a permanent resident at the Quinn Sanctuary? Even if he could take over the fields, I can’t imagine there’s much he could do since he essentially grounded at the refuge …

Hi I’ve missed the orb. I’ve been very busy. About a month ago I went out on my back porch to get my fishing poles and heard a horrible meowing. I didn’t know which of my cats got out but I went out to get them back in. Turns out it was my new kitten. He is a gold tabby and was about 9 weeks old. Poor fella had fleas, worms and Giardia. So much fun. After a few days of medicine he realized he is a feral cat. His name is He!!fire. He is orange like fire and gives all of us he!!. He has learned to come to his food call of Au come here. He is fast like a missile too. He!!fire is all better now and is even getting on the bed. Ruke is best buddies with He!!fire. He even likes the dogs. So now I’m 2 Great Danes and 5 cats.

Robber Mouse spotted!

Queen Magnet’s tomato can epaulets are showing quite nicely.

So what makes these fields so valuable that he tried marrying twice, and is now trying war to get them. Is thar gold in them thar fields??

I’m certain that the robber mice are just innocent – OK, innocentish – bystanders, and have no role to play in frustrating the cunning schemes of Owl-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.

Obie: Yes. She is my cousin from Down Under. She said she was going to train at Floofnet’s Culinary School.

Queen Mags: You will be delighted to know she graduated at the top of her class.

While this story is entertaining, I hope it wraps soon. I miss the usual antics of the BCN crew.

Having the mole/raccoon story to work on and readers be so positive on it and enjoying it has been really steadying, during a hard time of some unexpected sad events. I’m grateful for all of the positive comments and feedback, and the overall response. I’m sorry to be vague about my troubles (I don’t like when people do that either) but I wanted to acknowledge things have been a bit tough and express my gratitude for all the kindness.”

It seems to me that the forest wouldn’t be very appealing to moles, what with always bumping into those roots.

Dear Georgia, I am so sorry to hear that there is unhappiness and distress in your life right now. When you are ready to share, rest assured that the orb is here and ready to listen and ease your burden, if we can.

So that’s where Mag’s connection to Wicket comes from. That is one crafty owl.

I’m so sorry you’re going through bad times, whatever the cause may be. I can well understand such times, it hasn’t been a great year for me either. But please know that we are all here for you. And if there’s anything we can possibly do to make things better, you only have to let us know.

Wicket is a bounder, a blighter, and a nefarious cad. He’s even worse than That Guy Brad.

I am loving this tale of the outdoor animals! It’s quite a saga. Georgia has created an amazing and wonderful world. And, I’m very grateful for the Orb, for posting links to relevant backstories – those enrich the story all the more, for those of us who are fuzzy on the details, or weren’t here at the time.

And one thousand Orbsters pump our arms in the air and shout “Ah-HA!”

Gee, that’s messed up. Wicket is a real scumbag.

The allies have even more in common, sadly. That knowledge may help. “All knowledge is worth having.” I think the robber mice can be allies as well.

One of my colony kitties, Dawn gave birth to the healthy kittens today. (She’s Misha’s momma, but I couldn’t catch hey to get her spayed before she was pregnant again.) There’s an orange baby, a tabby and white, and a tortie. I found them because the tortie had wandered off and Misha was playing with her. He doesn’t understand why I keep telling him we don’t"bunny kick" the baby. As soon as I would say it, he would start bathing hey – until he thought I wasn’t looking, then it was back to bunny kicks.
