Pucky is such a good friend! What a sweet little guy he is.

Pucky’s so on the fence he’ll get splinters. But he’s a goodie.

You know Goldie does not have to leave BCN altogether. She can present some her findings as investigative journalism on the channel or perhaps report the findings in a format similar to what we see on crime shows on A&E or Oxygen. Her reports could cover present day dilemmas or mysteries from the deep dark past of The Big Pink House which could bring the ghost cats of RCO into play as Goldie uncovers the truth.

The “keeping order, patrolling the nursery” stuff sounds like she sees herself as a police detective rather than a private investigator. With that young tortie and her easily-led companion in the house, there might be a real need for this. On the other hand, this sounds a lot like what any mother might do.

OMG the Notification thing is going bonkers. It just alerted me to receiving a reply that was posted 4 years ago. Did Zonker’s Uncle Duke (Doonesbury) get into the programming?

Goldie, these are the things a reporter needs for groundwork on reporting. You can patrol and solve mysteries then report the facts to the reporters (keeping in mind. HIPPA REGULATIONS on handling private information.

I just wanted to wish my little Loaner Cat a HAPPY BELATED 19th BIRTHDAY from yesterday!!! She was only about 4 or 5 weeks old when my now son-in-law found her outside his workplace in a foot of snow on a horrible, blizzardy day with the end of her tail frostbitten, half dead. He left work and rushed her to a local vet where she lost the end of her tail, but pulled through and he kept her, naming her Shorty. She lives with us now of course and is pushing Beau around as I type this ;) Tough little bugger! We’ve had some sad news here lately so I thought this might cheer some of us up a bit.

Does this mean Goldie is leaving BCN?!

Sounds like she wants to be Sheriff!✪ As sheriff, she would have to do frequent interviews with the press, so she’d still be involved with the BCN network team.♥

Go for it, kid. Some of us never followed our dreams or even really knew what they were or are. Aye, there’s the rub. Why doesn’t some all-powerful, omnipotent being appear before us at ten and say, YOU WOULD BE HAPPIEST DOING/BEING A… It would save a lot of time and grief.

Honestly, I don’t think the others will have too much issue with it either. Lupin will probably be pleased if anything. I can’t see any reason why Elvis would have an issue with it. Any of the rest of their CN coworkers would strike me as all wanting to be supportive. Really, Puck strikes me as the one who might’ve taken the most issue with it, and we’ve already crossed that hurtle without incident. So I think this announcement of Goldie’s will go fine.

Nonetheless, the emotional support is still appreciated, I’m sure.

I’m a couple of years, from 60, and I am not giving up my dream to become a syndicated, cartoonist!

I love the “ loaner cat” moniker. Many years ago we enticed a feral tortie who ‘lived’ in a dumpster to join the other ferals we fed. We named her Midnight, and while it took years for her to trust us even a bit, we were grateful for each day. After 16 years she passed in my wife’s arms.

Everyone could use a friend like Puck. He’s very understanding.

St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner so patrolling the nursery and the rest of the Big Pink House might be a good idea.

Goldie needs to write up her stories and tell them to the BCN viewers. With charts as required.

Maybe she could be like Dateline’s Natalie Morales and have her own show. They could call it Fee-Line Files? (OK, that doesn’t work. Help me here, folks.
