I’m much more interested in what Jack and Luann are doing.

For all the money he has, Tom isn’t very bright.

Looks like Ann told the truth that Tom wants them be friends. What does he get out of it, I wonder.

Okay. I think it’s pretty obvious that Tiffany is playing it cool and going along With this travesty in order to come up with a plan. No doubt her next move will be to contact and re-enlist Les. And no doubt Les will come up with something Hair-brained. If Les were really SMART, he’d tell his uncle Al what’s going on here. AL Did have a workable plan to get that list back. No doubt, he’ll have some ideas here.

Whatever the plan, Tiff had better move FAST. Ann is gonna drag Tom to the altar ASAP before anyone changes their minds. And Tom will go along with it thinking his daughter and Ann are now “buddies.”

But I STILL say that if Tiffany wants to end this madness, she should introduce Les as Ann’s son, to her Dad.

Tiff you better move that king and say checkmate.

In a few years, I predict, the story arc will probably involve Tom dying, Anne getting the entire inheritance, and Tiffany learning how to survive in a world for which she never prepared.

A good time for this arc to fade out and we head to the final frontier, a place where no man has gone before…….Bernice.

How long has the setup been for this? Not just the last two weeks, but years?

Choice one: This arc drags on and things continue to get worse.

Choice two: Cut away to Shannon, Fay, or maybe even Luann.

Either way, this has gone too far!

So the “man” gets what he wants here huh? As the song of despair by the famous 50’s singer, Peggy Lee, goes “Is this all there is?” A distant father, in an apparent romance with a sociopathic grifter, is happy that his attenuated and troubled, and financially pampered daughter and the sociopath seem to be “good friends at last.” Boy Luann is turning quite dark. Hmmm?

Have pity on the clueless. We can’t help it.

Hey by the way in panel 3 we see both ears, Does that mean anything?

When you run a corporate type of business, you spout some lines, you make an appearance or two then run off, but don’t really get to know what’s really going on with your people. You just hope it stays ‘in the black’, and that profits increase, and that all the pieces will not come unglued. Sadly, some people run their families just like a business.

But what makes him think that one pic means they’re good friends?

The real horror of this is that it is true in real life.

Or maybe Tom told Ann, if her and tiffany can’t get along, he doesnt see how they could ever get married.

For Christmas dinner, have Tiff invite dad to visit Tiff friends like Les, and Anne’s brother, and all Tiff’s friends that got stung by the fake lingerie scam. Bring in a few new surprises and let Ann try to weasel out of it.

This is a story that will keep warming on the back burner for a long time to come. He’ll marry Ann, she’ll take him for a fortune, and only then will he believe Tiffany.

The whole Ann Eiffel storyline is an example of bad writing.

What an idiot! On the basis of one pic and the passage of 30 minutes, a longstanding and deep division is not only healed, but transformed into “good friends”?!? Uhm… right. It’s suddenly clear how Ann has been able to so easily exploit him— he’s STUPID!

Sorry Greg – this is a dumb ending to the saga. You’ve made it an ‘evil wins over good’ message. Don’t we already have enough of that in our every-day reality?

Tiff’s best play: She now has a color full face photo of Ann. Give the file to Brad and ask him to ask one of his police buddies to run it through the “Wanted Files.” With facial recognition, it will be an easy search. Odds are there is an arrest warrant out for Ann.

Wow, Tiffany caved. Bad move.

Ah, come on. Dad isn’t that stupid. All dad wants is for the issue to go away. Dad knows the issue isn’t fixed. He knows it’s being held together with duct tape and bubble gum. He just doesn’t care. This strip is as bad as “Lost”. Nothing ever gets resolved to anyone’s satisfaction.

Much of the progress that Tiffany had made just went out the window. She should have left about 10 minutes ago, gone home and gathered up all her evidence and gone to daddy’s house. Not to convince him of anything, but rather to explain to him why she (Tiff) was having nothing to do with Ann. No ultimatum, just an explanation.

This is getting real old. Lets move on get tired of seeing that woman win all the time. Make Ann eat some crow LOL.

HA! Tiff caved. No brains, no backbone. When Ann threatened to tell Tom that Tiff was rude to her, Tiff should have said: “Why would you do a thing like that? If his health is so delicate, why would you want to add to his stress levels?” THEN GOT UP AND WALKED AWAY!!! I mean, she was up and down in that chair like a Jack-in-the-Box. She beats Charlie Brown for wishy-washy.

As for the angry customers from the lingerie scam showing up and giving Tom an earful——none of the women except for Lu, Dez and Tara know they got scammed. Unless I missed something, no one on the list was contacted. Les just handed it over to Ann in exchange for getting himself off the hook financially. Besides, Ann could always tearfully claim to Tom that she herself was the victim of an unscrupulous supplier and she had no idea the stuff she was selling were knock- offs.

And I still can’t believe Ann hasn’t told Tom about Les. If she DIDN’T——if she left something that could potentially screw up the con she’s working on Tom unaddressed——-then she doesn’t deserve her reputation as a smooth-as-silk con woman and talented grifter. I still think she told Tom HER version of her relationship with Les, and how she came back to try and reconcile with him, but (gasp, sob!) TIFFANY messed everything up! Yep, Ann could spin it and Tom would buy it.

If it turns out she DIDN’T tell him, and Les’ existence turns out to be a Big Shocking Revelation—-then I am going to be very disappointed in G&K’s so-called story telling skills.

So, when does the, “Tiffany’s father dies suddenly (Ann mentioned on Thursday that something is ‘killing’ him), and there’s a surprise last-second change in his will that leaves everything to Ann, so Tiffany is now pretty much broke, and we get to spend the next few months watching her try to ‘be like normal people’ until Luann And Company (with a LOT of help from TJ, I am guessing) somehow get the better of Ann and, somehow, Tiffany gets half, if not all, of the money after all” storyline start?

TIFFANY. Why??? After all the work that you’ve done on yourself to become a strong, independent woman. You should have been out of there so fast that Ann Eiffel’s helmet of hair shattered into a thousand pieces. Seriously. Don’t give in to her, AGAIN!

I still believe it won’t be Tiffany that ultimately prevents Ann from totally taking over Tom Farrell, but other circumstances, or Tom himself. Tiffany just doesn’t have “the chops” to come up with something that’ll stick and execute it. IMO.

I’m hopeful. Greg and Karen did the right thing with Tara Starr. Kicked out of Moony Uni for stealing a dorm TV and breaking into a vending machine.

Soon I hope G&K will do the same thing with Ann for her crime. I personally think that Ann would look great in a “orange jumpsuit”….how about you? Maybe for our Christmas present from G&K?

So which one should I cheer for? Both deserve to come out on the short end of the stick!

Tiffany made the wrong choice (not the first time, and probably not the last). She should have let Ann tell her father whatever she wanted, and then tell him the truth. It would then be up to him to choose whom to believe, and whom he wanted in his life.

More like frenemies, this tool is being played at both ends like a fiddle…

We have to believe that the bad person will get what is coming to them, even if it is taking way too long. Many people know how horrible the person is. They should be in prison for all the criminal activities committed. I just hope I live long enough to see justice served.

For once I’d like to see one of these little blackmail schemes not end with the target immediately caving in. It’s bad enough that the strip seems to use it as their go-to solution for everything involving the strip’s “villains”, but having everything work out for the blackmailer tends to get old pretty fast. Real-life blackmailing is a very bad idea for a reason, and that reason isn’t because of how neat and tidy the whole thing is. Besides, this particular instance is even lamer than usual and barely even deserves the term blackmail. “Start being nice to me or I’m gonna rattle on you to your daddy and tell him you’re not being nice to me!” The lameness of the threat is eclipsed only by how easily it works.

Well. at least Tom is happy. hooray….

I am SO looking forward to when this all explodes in EIFFEL’s face, but worried about the fallout…

I think that eventually this will all play out into something big and icky. Tiffany never really gives up on anything.

Look at that near-smile on Ann’s face in Panel 2, just saying: “Gotcha!”

Ann is one manipulative lady. Poor Tif and blind Tom.

Both Al and Tom have a dark, secretive side to them, as though they were rival bosses in rival “families”. No bloodshed in this territory tug of war, but Al’s sister is making a move on Tom and Tom is trying to get his daughter to befriend Ann, as well as Al’s nephew, Les. It is possible that blabber mouth Les might brag about Al’s takeover plan and Gunther will spill the beans to his mother, Al’s wife. We could see something like “High Noon” in the Pitts’ town center. The old cowboys write songs about these type of showdowns.

As just about all of Us turn a sympathetic ear to Tiffany’s plight, We’d all do well to remember the “Old” Tiffany, who at one time, was THE Strip’s “Ann Eiffel.” Maybe not as “skilled” as Ann, but just as Mean.

How to make Christmas like the 4th of July… Step 1. Tiffany goes online and buys a “background check” on Ann. Step 2. Tiffany buys a Christmas card and puts report inside and seals it up. Step 3. Tiffany hands card directly to dad say a few weeks before Christmas “trust me dad you’ll love this present”. If that wouldn’t light a fuse off then nothing will.

What’s the big deal about showing his face; is he going to turn out to look like Les?

When I think about how Tiffany is treated, I have to remind myself that Ann, Tom, Luann, and the rest are not real, just two dimensional drawings that act according to how Greg wants them to. By that, where Tiffany is concerned, Greg is the ultimate supreme evil one.

I am disappointed that Tiffany has caved. as said, Ann is a parasite who preys on peoples’ weaknesses, and Tiffany’s is her desire for attention from Tom. Ann knows this and blackmails her into thinking that she can only have it if she accepts their relationship.

Tom Farrell is an idiot. Tiffany has to regroup to fight again another day….

Faceless Daddy can’t really believe those 2 have mended fences so quickly and have become friends. Just not credible. I don’t know why I continue to read this strip: Too many story arcs being juggled, no resolutions.

Notice the “Cold, Dead stare” in Both their eyes. Is Tiffs Dad serious? How stupid is he? If this were reality (or an episode of Dallas) Tiffany would have a Mad- Passionate affair to get back at her Dad. BUT since this is a comic strip Tiff will start to date Gunther.

They only way to beat a sociopath is to record what they really said as proof. Otherwise they can always spin everything to their advantage. Even then, they may twist it and win, but it’s harder.

I absolutely hope that Tiff has a plan in mind. Put everyone to sleep for now and then strike against Ann at the appropriate time. Then again, the other side of me thinks that she really needs some independence from her father and for her to get her own life in order. This sub arc has me thinking that Tiff still wants to have a relationship with her father. Honestly, I don’t think that’s possible at this point, not unless he gets to see Ann for what she really is. Maybe Tiff can show him that, maybe not. But I think there comes a point where you have to evaluate whether or not it’s worth keeping that relationship or moving on. I was hoping that Tiff was ready to move on. I guess not. Either that, or maybe she’s only doing this to take Ann down, even if that means she can’t have her father. That, I think would allow her some freedoms in what she can do to expose Ann. We’ll have to see. Still, in the end, I think the best course of action is to move on and be independent of her father, as it seems clear he has no interest in a direct relationship with her.

If he’s that stupid, who cares.
