It is time for Anne to get her comeuppance. Although Tiff does still need to grow up.

I’m very proud of Tiffany.

Does Tiff ever talk to her father? And where is Ann getting money – does she even still work or lets say scam?

I worked as a driver for a driving company in Norfolk Va at the Norfolk International Airport and i got tips like that from time to time. It was infuriating when you go above and beyond to serve a difficult customer and they basically stiff you on the tip by giving you a pathetically small tip. Something tells me Ann doesn’t believe in tipping.

So it looks like this week is being devoted solely to watching Tiff be humiliated yet again. Hopefully the next two days turns it around or at least pushes the plot forward somehow rather than just continues beating the dead horse.

I can only hope she’ll have that much farther to fall when she finally does fall.

I suspect this will motivate Tiffany to tear through her books and recommit more than ever to learning economics.

20 Cent Tip. The Cheap Witch.

Ann. Coming to Gloat and giving Tiff a hard time. No surprises there. And Old Smiley and Ox, MIA. Unless Bets has got a real plan, Tiffany is pretty much on her own on this one.

In the last panel, Ann mentions she has other “Bizs” in the works. Someone needs to do a little detective work on Ann, NOW.

Chances are, if she IS in another “enterprise” it too, is shady. Ann’s overconfident and Greedy enough to do it.

Oh. Someone mentioned this over at Arcamax. Wait ‘til Tiff gives Les $0.10 of that $0.20 tip! He’s gonna turn PURPLE!

Tiff is becoming a determined survivor, but Greg is relentless in his masochistic obsession to take down Tiffany. When was the last time we saw Tiff enjoy a real triumph of any kind?

Ann big fall is coming soon i would hope. She can’t keep on walking over Tiff.

Now, with that tip, Tiff can get that motorhome she has always wanted. A place to live and wheels. You know, the 1974 Winnebago Chieftain with the green windows, the Chrysler/Dodge 440 motor, and the yellow shag carpeting throughout – 360K miles and all original. Pretty close to what one like that is going for…

Tiff has the advantage of having a number of people working there that would be on her side. You mess with Tiff, and you mess with the whole trailer park…

A 1% tip?! I almost always tip 20%. Even if service is bad, I’ll still leave 10 or 15 percent.

Yesterday, I thought she was going to deliver a karate chop.

TJ was in the background. We may yet find out that TJ recorded Ann’s purposefully hurtful remarks. I do believe Tom would have a hard time processing this.

Tiffany’s dad is a bloody idiot to not see what a vicious conniving skank Ann is.

Like I stated on Monday…it was not worth it and she should have gotten kicked out for insulting Tiffany.

Should have given her the chop.

Should have brought the extra ice and the fresh pepper in the same glass.

In a perverse way, Ann is actually showing glimpses of Tiffany’s own self-absorption. Tiffany still has too big of an ego for her own good. Hopefully, she was disgusted by what she experienced and more open to further changes in lifestyle. (Her expressions hints to that.) One thing is for sure: Ann Eiffel has pointed out, even if mockingly, that Tiffany’s extravagent lifestyle was a major drain on her father’s bank account. Even if Ann was finally removed from the picture, Tiffany cannot return to relying on her father’s support. If she did, she would be no better than Ann.

Is that two 20’s ?

If ever there was a cross over scenario for How To Get Away With Murder.

Ann should be panned for stiffing Tiff.

Maybe the witch will go the way the witch did in the Wizard Of Oz. All she needs is a bucket of water near by.

Ann sure is a messy eater. Crumbs all over the table and crumbs as a tip.

It looks like Tiffany is holding two $20 bills there instead of only one.

Ann seems to being very careful with Tiffany’s dad’s money….

I’m out. This comic makes me sad and angry. I don’t need that in my life. Greg, you are obsessed with humiliating a young woman. We got the message: Tiffany will grow personally through this experiences, she will learn so much more the hard way. But this isn’t funny, it is bitter, this isn’t heartwarming, it’s disturbing. Get over it.

From my take, even though the top bill looked like 20, the two bills are either two 10s or a 20 and a 1. AE is evil enough and vengeful that at most she left a $1.20 tip, just 6%. Hopefully she gets hers, but we’ll see.

Ann Eiffel is something that rhymes with “bunt”

Ann is a terrible consumer. But Tiffany shows great self-control and professionalism by serving her without protest. In this situation the winner is Tiffany, not Ann.

That is only one $20 bill so yes she only left a .20 tip.

And when Tiffany finally gets her feet under her Ann will take credit for it stating she gave Tiffany the push she needed to succeed on her own. Or if Tiffany fails she’ll be happy to shove an entire salt lick into the wound.

Can’t prove much with cash, Eiffel can say anything she wants to disprove Tif. But Daddy is getting the goods…

When is her dad going to get a clue about Anne Eiffel? Tiff does need to learn how to pay her way, but not at the expense of her dad being ripped off by such a witch!

Payback for the lingerie caper is hell ain’t it Tiff?

I’m convinced that The Trials And Tribulations of Tiffany story will continue until GnK stops garnering two to three hundred comments per strip from readers. When (and if) it does end badly for Awful Annie it cannot happen in such a way as to elevate Tiff above the eponymous character in the strip; Luann. One way this could happen is to have this purported trip last indefinitely in the Tiffany story arc. This would give Tiff some respite to develop into whatever GnK have in store. This also has the advantage of being able either to bring the couple back when Tiff is in a different place to handle it OR have daddy return alone in some fashion.

Just offerin’ Greg! :o)

Ann is such a rotten person! I hope the Evans’s at SOME point allow Tiff’s Dad to witness her digs at his daughter in-person. I know his relationship with Tiff is what drives these arcs and what will eventually allow her to chose to rise above or stay below her potential, but the sweet, SWEET justice of his seeing Ann for who she Truly is would be absolutely delicious!

Someone please remind me of how TJ got rid of her the first time.

Tiffany is of course fuming. But, Tiffany did keep her focus on what she was supposed to do. So that is at least a minor victory. Ann is (of course) just trying to keep digging to get further under Tiffany’s skin here. But, in reality, all Tiffany can do is make decisions on how SHE will respond to this. So far, she is doing “ok”.

Ok…My father would have convinced me that he cares for her more than me. So, I would struggle on my own but I would refuse to crawl under her. If they make it, oh well. If he finally sees what kind of person she really is, I would try to be there for him because up til now, he was there for me.

I wonder when Tiffany started spitting in Ann’s drinks.

Tiff’s character is turning into something of Downton Abbey’s Lady Edith. Julian Fellows said that every time he was recognized in public some little old lady was begging him to write a script that would make Edith’s life more enjoyable. At the end of the series, he did just that. She married up. Maybe Tiff’s knight in shining armor will soon appear. At least hopeless fanatics can hope so.

I realize everyone is complaining about the lousy tip Tiffany got, but you know what- if she basically ignored her “customer” the whole meal, she might have deserved the 20 cents. I realize what Ann is, but I’m just sayin’.

Some restaurants add an a**hole gratuity to the bill for cheap jerks who don’t leave decent tips. TJ needs to look into that.

Ann kept calling her ’Server’, when she d@mn well knew her name!

In younger years (I wasn’t even 10), our family would occasionally go to the local Frisch’s Big Boy – just a step above fast food. I remember us sitting down, and I noticed a nearby table. The father of their group referred to the server as ‘Waitress’, and seemed nice enough, but it came off as more pretentious and demeaning than anything! It wasn’t like it was a posh place, and it wasn’t the ’50’s either.

I told myself then to just say, ‘Thank You’ (if I didn’t know the name), with an honest smile. It’s worked ever since! :)

By now, Tiff should be able to keep all her tips. Her arrangement with Les doesn’t have to be permanent. Renegotiate!!

When I eat out I make a point to remember the server’s name and I call them by that if I want something. Ann knows Tiffany’s name so she is just being extra mean by calling her server.

I’m oh so weary of this predictable story line about Evil Ann. Yes..she humiliates Tif at every turn. I’d be much more interested in seeing Tif win a round for a change.

I will never understand this storyline.

Let’s not forget that Tiff was not exactly nice and professional to Ann, see Tuesday strip. Tiff said: “WHY DON’T YOU JUST GET THE H.(ell out of here)” and Ann said: “A-AH! THAT’S NO WAY TO EARN A TIP DEAR”

It’s pretty bold of Ann to eat at the Kafe Kablooey. Even on Tiffany’s income, she can afford poison.

I hate that woman.

Tomorrow Tif notices that TJ included a 20% Sur Charge (1 person at a table for 4), which TJ gives to her as her tip. Ann never checked the line items on the bill.

Ann: What do you mean 20 percent? I thought the tip was supposed to be 20 cent.

Poor Tiff has been owned. Not really much she can do about it. She did have her chance with the lingerie scam to have the itch-bay locked up, but chose not to.

Reminds me of a story I heard in my cab driving days, not sure if its a “Urban Legend” or not. A “Rico Suave” is taking at date to a fanct club. He pays the fare with a large tip added then send his date ahead. When she’s out of site he asks for the tip back.

At first I thought Ann was being generous for once. I thought she was giving her a $20 tip. Then I realized the twenty was to cover the bill PLUS the tip. Twenty cents. I’m surprised she was even that generous.

Off the the spa? More like the restroom with all that water you were guzzling down. Plus, Tiffany isn’t the only server there, don’t think a bad tip from a regular customer doesn’t get around.

You know, Mr. “I know a guy” Gray has been shown to have once been Eiffel’s partner in scams, and probably has more dirt on her than anyone. As a successful businessman, he’d have Tiffany’s Dad’s ear, and could drop a whole roll of dimes on Eiffel.

It seems like he’s been introduced as Chekhov’s gun, but I’m wondering if he’s going to be used as such within this geologic era. The old soap operas used to move faster than this plotline.

A little rain falls into everyone’s life. Forget about this rotten experience and move on. Maybe one day Daddy will wake up, OR NOT.

Any chance Ann gets run over by a bus on her way to the spa?

Yep, Annie Awful know exactly how to compute the Tip Amount that is even More Insulting than not leaving one at all.

so she’s going on a trip to Italy. I’ve thought of this horrible outcome previously. Maybe there will be a report in the news of a plane (bound for Rome) going down and with no survivors. It’s a terrible thought but one way (albeit violent) to dispose of unsavory characters for whom there is no hope of reform or redemption.

Receipt says Kafe Kablooie but could also be Steak-N-Shake cuz that’s the kind of tip we usually get (if we get one at all). Especially from the church crowd on Sundays. —And why do people thinks it’s a good idea to come in with half the neighborhood? Now everybody after you has to wait until your order is done. “Golly, sir. I don’t know why it’s taking the kitchen 40 minutes for your burger and fries. Why don’t you go ask that 20-top?”
