To me the most amazing and unexpected of the many tributes to Franklin the week she died was when the Welsh Guard Band, at the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, played “Respect.”

He’s worse than Carlos.

I always try to guess what the pun will be without reading all the way through. I didn’t guess this one…very clever! (And I can still hear Nixon saying, “Sock it to ME????” )

Well Done and Thank You, Mr. Pastis! You brought a much-needed smile to me this morning!

My closest pun-loving friend, after I forwarded this to him, has blocked my emails. It’s obviously terrific.
