The return of Dez. Perhaps she’s here to bring Tiffany back to the dorm so she can finished being corrupted by the Hall A gang. And, looking at the first panel it would look like Shannon was there for brunch.

Fantastic! Tiffany’s back! And so is Dez!

I was afraid that the end of the Ann Eiffel arc would have ended Tiffany’s run (by restoring her previous cash flow and residence &c).

After last week, I almost thought of taking a week or so off.

But I’m glad I didn’t!

So Tom evidently thinks Tiffany should still work for her own money. Probably a good idea – Tiff needs to learn what makes money appear. Hopefully an interesting week coming up.

Maybe Tiff should have someone move in forcompany. Dez is alone too.

Everybody seemed to think Tiffany’s issue was her loss of money. But maybe it was her loss of relationship with her father.

I really like how much Tiffany has changed over the years. She is easily one of my favorite characters _ I like Dez a lot too

Looks like Shannon won’t be getting any discipline for the hijinks of last week. I hate to be right all the time.

Still, it’s nice to see Tiffany again.

So, was the Jack-the-fish arc inserted to reestablish Dez’ easy-going, philosophic approach to life to be used in this new arc?

You know, you could pack quite an intentional community into a mansion…

I think Dez is felling a little alone. Glad to see Tiff is back.

I think Dez is feeling alone, and I think she has a natural need to be kind of a healer. Tiffany won the battle with Ann, but may have lost the war to be closer to her absent father. Interesting theme here, Shannon’s dad is absent, Tiffany’s as well. Dez may room in the mansion, and do some healing. Lets see.

I can imagine how Tiffany feels. All that junk and no one to share it with or talk to. :(

Oh, Tiff. I think that Prince Harry and Meghan must have felt the same way about living in a mansion with all those burdensome royal duties, so they took Archie and split. Wake up, Tiff, even the Queen leaves the palace to ride her horses, she doesn’t invite the horses in. So, just keep Dez and her weirdo followers away from the mansion, or you may find Piro sleeping in some walk in closet.

Hmm, maybe she’ll put in a good word for Bernice and then Bernice can move out of the awkward situation at the DeGroots.

Well, Tiff – he says he is out on business trips. Probably trying to find a new bimbo to replace the last bimbo.

So what are you going to do about it, Dez? Offer to share the mansion with her this semester? I doubt it. You would lose your magical earth mother rep if you did. And that just wouldn’t fit with the stereotype.

(Well, he wasn’t entirely alone. There were those armadillos living under the stairs in the entrance hall.)

Tiff – whatever you do, please, please, PLEASE, resist the urge of Dez to host others at the mansion that will, eventually, mess it up just in time for Dad to come home and find out! You can find other ways to keep from being alone. RESISTANCE IS NOT FUTILE!

Tiffany has kept her job, that is great news.

Since school is back in session, I hoped Tiff would return to her room with Steph. And friend Hair, et al.

It’s not surprising that her dad is never there. The uber-rich are never satisfied with the status quo. Always a little bit more money to be made, the new shiny toys they must have, and the constant need to be travelling. The only thing missing is a soul.

The truth is, Tom deserves someone like Ann Eiffel to makes fun of him! I just wonder if Tiffany will go back to her little college room with Stefani, become Dez’s new roommate, or stay in the empty mansion. I love seeing Dez visit her at work. Dez is such a good friend ♡.

It’s “funny” isn’t it? Poppa Ferrell had all the time in the World for some lying gold digging strumpet. But today, he has very little for his own flesh and blood. Actually it’s WORSE now. At least BEFORE, “Daddy Big Bucks” used to take Tiff on business trips to Paris. Not anymore, apparently. Plus, it seems the “cash ain’t flowing” again, because Tiff still works at the Fuse. Unless of course, she’s only working there out of sheer boredom. In which case, she’s entered the seven circle of H3LL.

Ann Eiffel. That woman is like the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, where the “effects” will be felt for years. If not decades.

On the “bright side,” if Tiff is still in college, no sweat. She pretty much “pioneered” taking on-line classes back in 2017. So the “new norm” should present no difficulty. And if Tiff gets in a tight spot school-wise, Bets is just a phone call away.

By the way. How are tests given on an on-line classes and how do teachers insure there’s no “cheating?”

Tom’s out meeting a replacement Ann Eiffel, or worse, hooking back up with Ann at some resort where politicos hash out how to launder money.

What happened to the personal chef? Daddy didn’t hired the staff back? Maybe, Dez would move in the mansion as a roomie? Some predicted that Tiffany would move to the gulag (Les). With Ann`s absence, Tiffany can go back to studying and graduated .

Dez reads Tiffany like a book. But can she actually help the Lone Tiffster?

Out of all the characters in this strip, who among us would think that Tiffany would be the one working hard at her job? And on that note – since the DeGroots OWN the Fuse, and mom is working there – why isn’t Luann working there in the family business?

So Bern moves in with Luann and it now looks like Dez may move in with Tiffany. That’d be quite a shift in relationship dynamic. Lets review the relationship bidding; as they say in Bridge:

Luann and Bernice (and Jack?)

Gunther and Bets (and Les?)

Now, potentially, Tiffany and Dez (and ???)!

Perhaps Tiffany won’t stay in McMansion, but share a dorm room with Dez. Then the Hall A gang would still be in play. Or will they go poof like Pru?

Who expected this much fallout from Pru’s departure.

I guess they don’t need to wear masks because it’s a comic strip and would blocks faces/emotions, but gloves as she cleans the table would be good. Could have (any one of a number of) viruses all over it!

I’m thinking Tom is seeing the new and reformed Ann! Then we can watch her as the nicest person on the planet, all love and kindness…..and pregnant.

Hope he doesn’t come home with another gold digger girlfriend.

Dez seems to be making the rounds. Still hoping to get her backstory. Wonder if she’s lonely or if she’ll give Tiffany suggestions for having company in that mansion, or both. And if Dez does hint that she’s alone, will it go over Tiff’s head, will she ignore it or will she suggest Dez stay with her. Many possibilities! ;-)

I’m guessing that Tiff will move into Dez’s room.

I’m pleased that Tiffany is still working. I would have thought she’d immediately return to spoiled rich girl mode.

If Dez moves into the mansion …. huge organic garden in the backyard. And a ZEN garden would be relaxing.

Tiff, your father was never there for you. He wasn’t there growing up and he still isn’t now. Just accept the fact that your father was just a genetic donor. No matter how hard you try, not matter what you do, he isn’t your family. Tiff needs to keep this job, make her own money and find her own way. Dez needs a new roommate, the dorm needs a new RA. Tiff, move in with Dez, study and become successful without the help of “daddy”.

Maybe Tiffany can make some extra money by renting out a room to someone…

Here’s Dez, bringing snark? That’s not like Earth Mother Dez at all; snark is Bernice’s department. G&K are using the wrong character here, methinks. A disclaimer: I’m fond of being around nobody, and would love to rattle about inside a deserted mansion.

Some above have suggested that the whole gang move into the mansion with Tiff. This could be a way for Greg to end the strip quickly.

Or, for a less gruesome ending: One night, when the whole cast was sleeping, the entire mansion was uprooted from the grounds and carried through the skies to the mother ship. The end.

It’s good to see TIffany blossoming. She has a job she likes doing, even when she had to deal with that horrid Eiffel woman. And now that Eiffel in gone, perhaps Tiffany can concentrate on her studies better. But perhaps the business courses are a bit much for her. She clearly has a knack for doing beauty treatments, so she should enroll for cosmetology courses and become a star pupil. Se may not go into her father’s business, but she can still start her own business with her own skills.

And remember when she was selling her furniture? She’s not a complete dud when it comes to business.

As for Dez… Well, she has no problem with her classes that we know of, but with Bernice at Luann’s, she misses being around people she’s cool with.

Maybe having Dez room with Tiffany might not be such a bad idea. They can each have a guest room, and keep each other company while Dear-old-Daddy is away on business.

Besides… We don’t know if Dad re-hired any of the old staff back yet.

Think of it… The writers still have Tiffany working. Also, it looks like she’s drawn thinner.

Ugh. Dez is a weak walking trope.

There are so many ways this could go here. But first, I’m glad to see that Tiff is still working. I think she’s come to like having her own money that she earned herself. Now, she most likely doesn’t have to pay rent, which should allow her to save some money if she thinks about it. Her fairly brief stint at being “poor” surely has had some effect. School should be back in session soon, so we might see her hitting the books. Maybe.

Orrrrr…..you all remember the nail business that Bern made her quit? Well, there’s no reason why she couldn’t open her own “shop” in her daddy’s mansion. That could be interesting. And Ann’s yoga studio could easily become a massage therapy room, most likely with Dez as the therapist. Nails to the left, please. Massage up the stairs and to the right. Study hall, with mood music, down the hall, past one of the twelve bathrooms. The pool out the back door. Don’t forget to tip the pool boy on your way out. She could have a thriving business if she played her cards right. AND if she gets a business license, which might not be easy in a residential neighborhood.

This could get interesting.

Boom! Nailed it on the head there, Dez. It does sound nice having a mansion all to yourself. But I can imagine that it could feel so alone and empty once the novelty wears off a little.

It’s good to see Tiff back at work.

It’s official. People have been saying Tiffany is a hippo. Look at Dez. She is more meat on her than Tiff does. Tiff is svelte standing next Dez. She is just a bit chubby, that’s all, folks. Bernice is skinny. Luann seems to be the average…as she is in everything else.

Now comes the offer to rent a room at Tiff’s mansion …

And have orgies.
