It’s time to try a different style of humor if you have to make a word like shoeser to tell a pun.

This strip has no sole.

And this one doesn’t – I got a chuckle out of it!

When it comes to humor, Stephan has been a real loafer lately.

Pastis, don’t be such a heel. This strip was so over arching it fell flat on its feet.

Please toe the line.

I thought it was a good one!

C’mon Buttons, Pastis nailed it. He has sole.

The word “shoesers” alone was worth today’s strip.

The boys are on a roll tonight. Maybe Pastis should hire a couple of them.

If we don’t see the Crocs anymore, we know what Pig did with them.

I have to wear my brother’s old worn out shoes. And they stink!

Comics shouldn’t make people throw up a little bit into their mouths!

I wonder was is Stephan’s favorite pun setup.

Pretty sad when you have to invent a word in order to make a pun…

Whoever created this strip’s rather punny punchline ought to..GET THE BOOT! ;D

?? Ok. “shoeser” is a neologism created by Pastis; I know what “bag”, and maybe “bagger”, means. But I can’t catch the pun. It’s something including the words “both” and “boot”? Please help me to understand, because English isn’t my native language.

Is Stephan a Heel for writing this?

Ran into a similar situation at the local dog show. Seems the prize-money for the wire-haired champ was much greater than for the short-haired group. When the owner of the short-haired winner complained of the inequity, he was politely told “Well, boxers can’t be schnauzers.”

It’s a stretch for Stephan but I’ll allow it…POINTS!!!
