I QUIT!! That zombie rabbit licking the glass in panel 3 is freaking me out and I’m not even in the lab! It’s a little too late to form a union so let’s get out of this freak’n lab!
Am I the only one who is totally freaked out by the red eyed green furred zombie bunnies? Maybe I’ll just ride this one out with my hands over my eyes and just read the comments section until somebody tells me it’s safe to look again!
As an optimistic rainbow-kitty I don’t think these are real Zombie (or mad Hulk)-bunnies. Want to believe they just forgot to put the lid on their broccoli-smoothie maker…
15 days until our beloved Shauumunn’s 63rd birthday! I’m posting now in case my memory takes an unexpected leave of absence, at least someone else will remember and we can send her tons of good wishes. I miss her so very much. :(
Time for the Holy Handgrenade of Antioch. We shall have Brother Maynard provide us with a blessing and instructions.
“And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, ‘O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.’ And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas. And the Lord spake, saying, ‘First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.’
So…I’m trying to figure out why they would be turning rabbits into zombies. What, exactly, do they get out of such research? Because they don’t seem to be interested in finding a way to cure zombieism, and even if they were, seems to me the best way to cure zombies is to not make them zombies in the first place. I suppose they could be developing some kind of bioweapon, but a bioweapon that turns people into zombies seems like a very bad idea, assuming these zombies spread in the typical zombie fashion (and the comic seems to be implying as such, so…). I can’t think of any other ways off hand in which such research would turn some kind of profit for them in the end.
Really, the only reason I can think of that they’re doing this…is literally just for the heck of it. I guess maybe somebody on staff cracked a formula that could turn something into a zombie, and they just decided “well, we’ve got a surplus of bunnies, so…let’s just turn them all into zombies and see what happens.” :P
I’m in the process of switching computers, and it’s not going well. A very long and boring story. Anyway, if I disappear for a few days or come back with a new name, you’ll know what happened.
And my new avatar has been Updated. The light was a bit off as she is really monochrome grey, black, and white. And yes, she does seem to have a bit of a meow-hawk on top. Last night she started actual playing with the tie on my gown.

The Zombies: That Time of the Season
It’s the time of the season
When things get weird
And this is no time to take it easy
We gotta leave as soon as we can!
…….
To make it to the outside (promised lands)
To get out of here at once
It’s the time of the season for running!
…….
What’s your plan?
Do you really?
(Natash) Know what you’re gonna do?
We are running out of time (any time)
(To go) we must absquatulate real soon!
…….
Tell it to me slowly (tell me what)
I really want to know
It’s the time of the season to escape!
…….
Is there help?
Who’s that black mouse?
(Clever) Is she clever like me?
We are running outta time (any time)
(To go) to go to the outside world!
…….
Tell it to me slowly (tell me what)
I really want to know
It’s the time of the season to escape!

They say that here in Grim Tech
The red pills are mighty fine
Well, they’re good in Violet’s sling shot
’Cause they taste like turpentine
Oh, we don’t want no more of Grim Tech life
Gee whiz, we need a new home!
The maze treats here at Grim Tech
They say are mighty fine
But if you eat too many
They really blow your mind
Oh, we don’t want no more of Grim Tech life
Cheez Whiz, we need a new home!
The tiny gowns they give us
They say are mighty fine
Well, me and half the lab mice
Could all fit into one of mine
Oh, we don’t want no more of Grim Tech life
Gee whiskers, we hafta go rogue
The bunnies on a Z-trial
They say are mighty fine
They start with thirty zombies
And end up with ninety-nine
Oh, we don’t want no more of Grim Tech life
We know that place called Grim Tech
They say is mighty fine
But we know firsthand it’s evil
With experiments most unkind
Oh, we don’t want no more of Grim Tech life
Gee man, we wanna go,
Gee man, we gotta go,
Gee man, we all need a new home
- GEE MA, I WANNA GO HOME – (Author Unknown)
