Hmm…I’m interested in seeing how this goes. Maybe Bets still feels kinda bad about running off and ghosting Gunther after he dropped the L-bomb and she’s trying to play it cool with how he thought she was COMPLETELY moving in. Maybe this is her way of going, “alright, we’ll satiate cranky roommate right now, but we’ll clarify this matter later, quietly and ALONE.”

Well, I’m sure both of the guys will be living under BETSRULES in no time. =/

But today’s development is good.

Not only does it prove that Les can easily be bought (For mere internet access yet) but shows just how “influential” Bets really is. Which makes her even more potentially dangerous. I’m beginning to think that Bets’ “EX’s” didn’t dump her. She “consumed” them.

One thing for sure. If this “living arrangement” goes predictably wrong, EVERYBODY, in the Gulag is going down for it.

Would calling your carrier and asking them about connectivity at a certain point be of any help???

It’s time for us to see Bets & Gun in the same bed. However I suspect G & K will jump to another arc.

Nice try les but flattery will get you nowhere with Bets. She’s there for gun. She wants to play with his “gun” not yours.

HOORAY! Now even Les is on their side! I really hope Al and Irma allow this combination, maybe even for longer than the holiday period ♡. If that happens, not only would it be a huge step forward in the relationship between Bets and Gunther, but Tiffany could move into Dez’s room and finally put more space between her and the annoying couple Kip-Stef.

Bets doesn’t need to bring in her stuff. Gunther has all she need for now — one air of Picard pajamas. Not that they will be wearing them for long.

People have been mentioning that Gunther doesn’t loo like himself these last couple weeks. I noticed that in today’s strip in the last panel. His face looks thinner, more mature, much the way that Brad’s face has evolved from potato to person. I think Greg is acknowledging that Gunther is going up.

Best way to man’s heart is through his internet.

Les can say “damn” but other characters can’t say “oh my God”?

Also, Bets, you can get your stuff right after Gunther gets permission from his mother and stepfather who own the house.

Ugh, terrible “ending”. A wi-fi hotspot won’t solve the problem unless she’s bringing a high speed connection to the house along with a router to handle the speeds for up and down, especially if Les is doing online gaming, oh well, people are happy here (other than those who know tech) and I suspect GnK fall in that category.

Bets may have won Les over with her high speed internet connection, but she still has to clear things with Al Gray. I don’t think he’ll be impressed with her wifi hot spot, or any of her other hot spots either. Not if it’s going to cost him money.

It appears to be a done deal. Will they inform the parental units or is this a set up for an embarrassing discovery by same?

Else, next week, something completely different. Then winter break will be over.

Well, along with patented misdirection plays, which I predicted would happen, what i thought the most likely conclusion of this arc (still has a week to go IMHO) was that Gun and Bets move in together. Les turns out not to be much of an obstacle. Boy the storylines this will engender! Segue into young adulthood in the Gen Z Era.

Well this is disappointing, but I guess it’s to be expected. The young people in this comic strip are spoiled little twerps who spend all of their time using others, thinking the world owes them a living, and disregarding other people’s personal property. If someone owns a business it’s theirs to do with as they want, same thing if someone builds a guest house or buys a rental property.

Guys are so easily to manipulate by girls. That’s no joke…..

WiFi isn’t the only hot spot Bets has.Just sayin.

This strip is getting racy for the comics page. First, it strongly implies characters are having sex, and now Les is saying “damn” out loud.

But does she have 5G?

This looks like a bad mistake all around.

I hope Bets can at least cancel and get refunded for her second semester dorm room lease.

It just shows that everyone has their price!

I am not sure they understand how the internet works.

She could move in for the school break and take it from there if it works out. I thought the original story line was that Bets had dated Les through DatePix before she met Gunther. Les was supposedly one of those guys who “cheated and lied to her”. He is one of the reasons for her distrust of all males. Now they are going to live in the Gulag together?

“BETS RULES” is in the crystal Ball. But I think Gunther needs someone like that to yank him away from his Mommy.

So will the next “naked” sighting be Les seeing Bets, Bets seeing Les, or mom coming over to deliver snacks or somesuch and seeing Bets, only learning then of her presence? Gunther and Bets seeing each other won’t really count.

If Bets don’t return to the dorms, will Dez get a new roommate?

It is interesting how the adult characters in this comic are written as non-consequential and seem to exist solely to provide housing, transportation and other necessities for these selfish little college students. They get included in a little story now and then but not anything major. For the most part they just pay bills, build houses and start businesses that the main characters use as they want.

So as long as “Punk” is okay with her, then all is good. If she says she doesn’t like cats, out she goes.

Gun has no business bringing someone like Bets into such a small place he doesn’t own and he has a roomate. It is basically under his parent’s roof. If she gets pregnant his life is over for good.
