“Nature?” Well, natural Lupin, with toe beans, anyway, yay!! In other news, local Man wearing a plaid shirt. How I love that! To repeat yesterday’s announcement in case any missed it: my signed and numbered BCN print of Get Well Lupin arrived!!
Okay, I just figured out Lupin’s trick. He came in behind the box and slipped through the branches just as they spronged out. A trick worth of David Copperfield. Or he did a typical cat walking through walls move.
“Mon beau sapin, roi des forets, que j’aime ta verdure.” In high school French we sang on Fridays. In December we sang Christmas Carols. That’s the first line of “Oh Tannenbaum.”
Back on Dec 8, the box is clearly labelled “THE TREE”. Today’s panel 3 looks suspiciously like “SHE TREE” and panel 4 has the first letter hidden, so it looks like “HE TREE”. Is Georgia messing with my brain?
Nature? No, probably more the majesty of Balsam Hill or some other artifical tree manufacturer.
I’d prefer the real thing, but a nice looking artifical isn’t so bad if there’s no choice. Or no place to set up a natural tree (I’m considering the last tree stand my folks had and it’s footprint, bigger than those three or four legged stands we’d had when I was little and you didn’t have to water as often as it held two or three times what the other’s did but had a base that was like two feet across).
I haven’t read all the comments here, but there are four reasons we can’t have a real tree, 1: allergies. 2: cat. 3: no room for tree. 4: a fire hazard. I’m fine with decorations, as long as they are artificial and high enough that the cat can’t reach it. And for those of you that like candles, please, be careful, especially if you have pets.

Cats can, after all, walk through walls, especially if those walls are made of cardboard.

Nature in a cardboard box……no trip to a snowy spot to select and cut a fresh fir!

I’m sure Elvis says he’s smiling because of the happy news report, but we all know it’s because his girl has her arm around him. He’s such a softie!

He was invisible when he got in then changed into his clothes superfast. Just like Clark Kent does in the phone booth when he becomes Superman.

How are the grafts doing? Have you got back to wrestling alligators yet? Have some more chocolate and stout, just to be safe.

Donnie Hathaway: This Christmas
Climb up the Christmas tree
Great view and I can see much better, yeah
This Christmas
And as we trim the tree
Knock down the ornaments together, yeah
This Christmas
…….
Lupin climbs everything in sight
Cats are running through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very busy Christmas for kitties
…….
Garlands and wreaths are here
Bringing us such Christmas cheer, it’s true
This Christmas
And as I look around
I don’t know what the cats are up to
This Christmas
…….
Lupin climbs everything in sight
Cats are running through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very busy Christmas for kitties
Run around, run around

Oh, his pop-up is delightful
Nature comment – so insightful
And since he’s always on the go
One-cat show, don’t ya know, he’s a pro
Man, he doesn’t show signs of stoppin’
His mischievous ways can be shockin’
Will he ever take things slow?
I dunno, but guess “no”, love him so ❤️❤️❤️

Lupin is a Cat of Adventure. All boxes, open or closed, are full of adventure. Therefore, all boxes contain Lupin.
.
My logic is unassailable!
