Why is Luann being mean to Puddles? Shame on her!

We haven’t had a puddles strip in a while :)

Wonder what kind of sandwich it was? And was it made with Wonder Bread….

Love that dog! Luann does as well, but sometimes misses the depth of the relationship!!

Is this where we laugh at Luann because she’s so dumb she didn’t hear Puddles scarfing down her sandwich. Or do we slime Bernice for not telling Luann that Puddles had returned. I just hope it wasn’t a chocolate sandwich that Puddles ate.

Pud has a low BS threshold.

Luann has just fallen several levels in my regards for her. Mean, selfish cow. Deserves a wake up call in Dante’s Inferno.

Puddles should have heard any food that was put in his dish. My dog can hear that from any room in the house.

Not from a religious background, but my Dad used to often say, the Lord helps those who help themselves. And Puddles did.

My daughter has shown me the relationship between a dog and it’s master; I wasn’t aware how much bickering can come up.

Fantastic. It’s not easy to fool a dog. At least Luann tried. I love Puddles and all his expressions ♡ I also like that Luann and Bernice are sitting next to each other and not one on the floor and the other on the bed, as they have been doing for decades.

Payback was sweet for Puddles.

Once again, the dog is the only character in this strip I sympathize with.

So, they’re introducing a new aspect to their lead characters’ personality. Animal Cruelty.

I’m just realizing how strange Puddles’ character design is. I’ve been reading Luann Againn, and while all the other character models have gone through a less-cartoony transformation over the years, Puddles largely looks the same. I wonder how he’d look if he was made more realistic.

Don’t worry, Luann. You’ll get over it too.

I would make a breakfast sandwich for my son to take out the door to high school, but our Golden figured it out and scored that sandwich many times before I got smart enough to put it out of his reach.

The Luann character is based on Karen Evans. So that means Karen is the kind of ignorant a$$hole who likes to play tricks on their loving, trusting pets. I wonder if she also pulls the wings off flies, and burns ants with a magnifying glass.
