News takes Yeti by surprise. Moran is cold and dead

Paranoia creeping in. Suspicion, rage, and dread.

Task he gave to underlings was check up on Moran

Looks like he has been betrayed. Revenge now Yeti’s plan.

Maybe Ape did pummel him or squish him like a bug

None too bright yet sure can fight. A dim but brutal thug.

Ferret, she is fast and skilled. Clever and unassuming.

Might she be teaching Ape new tricks? Sidekick she may be grooming.

Yeti reaches for his gun. Has a few tricks up his sleeve

Betrayal earns a shallow grave, and who for them would grieve?

    Good morning™, all!

Yeti is suspecting Ferret and Ape of killing Boss Moran? I wonder why he would think that. What would they have to gain by it? I’m missing a connection here.

And his solution is to shoot them with a poison dart? That seems to be how he fixes every problem. It really didn’t work that last time.

It’s not that Yeti believes Ferret and Ape murdered Moran, it’s that he thinks they failed to protect Moran from the real killer. And maybe he’s got the idea that the two just bailed on him and took off.

    Good morning™, misplaced assumptions !

I think the poison spider bite residue is still in his blood. The boy aint rational. He must be thinking that Ferret really is out to get him for killing her bro. P.2 and 3; he reminds me of RanXerox.

The phrase “mad as a hatter” comes to mind. Similar to how Victorian-era hat makers developed severe neurological conditions from exposure to mercury, Yeti’s irrational irritability and paranoia could be explained by long-term exposure to one or more of the poisons and/or solvents that he would regularly be working with to fashion his deadly product. And is it just a coincidence that a favorite fur used in hat felting was that from a rabbit?

    Hello, angry poisoners!

Unless Ferret and Ape can bring forth a live client, or proof of one, Yeti intends for them to be dead fish dead very soon. I hope she’s driving that car far out of Tracyville as fast as she can. At this point, even if they provide a live client, he may still dart them both.

Yeti never never thought that the police were capable of investigating the murder… From the cop who showed Tracy and Sam the invoices and and the boxes of poison bottles to Tracy discovering a woman’s footprint, and Roger with his drone picking up rose petals at the scene of the crime…So, Ferrert and Ape did not “betray” Yet I… They avoided Tracy !

I see that yeti is still in his old ideas, the gun “solves” everything and also how paranoid, his two assistants do not even have the brains to kill a fly, let alone a person, but well, as he has no loyalty to anyone and betrays everyone, he thinks that everyone will betray him.

Yup. Go for the old poison dart gun, the solution to all your problems!

…New help, no help. It’s all the same thing. It’s the fault of Ape and Ferret. Well, Rabbit learned not to betray me! Now, it’s her turn, her and that big dummy! Moran’s dead! My clients are dropping like flies! Ape and Ferret are responsible, so they must pay!

Yeti knows that Boss Moran wasn’t killed at his direction; (TBD what he thinks Ferret and Ape had done.) Dick Tracy suspects Yeti, or an operative of his, of killing Moran, without knowing for sure. This could twist nicely. Too bad daily space and time limits on the length of a story-arc won’t permit any Touch-of-Evil or ‘The Judge and His Hangman’ considerations of acting on suspicions without evidence.
