Sam and Dick, they know this trick. They’ve been out gunned before

Ferret is not sure whether she wants to risk the boss getting shot or not, but her dilemma is cut short by the arrival of Tracy and Sam, so she doesn’t have to make that decision now. (Just when Yeti was complimenting her, too!)

This is sensational, either everyone obeys Tracy, or the action begins!Which will it be?

Good morning™, tense moments !

Will somebody take a last ditch effort shot ?   If this is the climax it sure is a let down. Hoping for a last exciting thrill before we see folks around the office recapping and preparing for the next big criminal to step into the ring.

The look of wide-eyed fear on everyone’s face isn’t because of Tracy and Sam but the pair of ED-209s right behind Tracy and Sam that Riger sent in to back them up!

The shooting starts when Daisy drops his cane.

This could get very messy…

Drop, Ape. Play dead !

This will become very interesting if Ape suddenly have this bright idea of rushing and tackling Tracy and Sam

I do like it when my analysis comes to pass.

Let’s see if this group of criminals remembers that Dick Tracy is arguably the deadliest cop in the comics world or if they decide to try to shoot it out.

Where is Avenger? We really do need his commentary now.

I am thinking Yeti is not going to surrender peacefully. He’ll probably make a dash for it. Will he be meeting up with any giant vermin in those sewers?

Ferret’s line, in response to Rose’s threat, might have been, “Go ahead. He owes me for five months’ work and I jus’ figured out that he kills his employees or leaves them for dead rather than paying their salaries.”

Didn’t I see a plot like this in a “Three Stooges” movie?

This will all end in tears, I just know it

it’s a dropping situation here peoples! who else is gonna drop in to drop it? a person with a cannon perhaps. :D

Somehow I don’t see Yeti going peacefully. On second thought maybe he would…probably has access to a good lawyer. How far does Daisy think he will get trying to hobble away from the scene? Special order will have to be placed for a jail house wardrobe to fit Ape.

This was a great story with plenty of “twists” and “surprises” ( Daisy ) and Tracy and Sam “getting the drop” on this group for now…

All the talk must have vibrated off of the sewer corridor, Tracy and Sam knew just where to go. Hopefully the calvary is on the way.

Ape and Ferret have that look…dang she could get the drop on our boss…and we are absolutely helpless to prevent it.

HOW IT ALL ENDS: Sam, further cementing his nickname ‘Ricochet Sam’ (see prior Yeti story) opens up and, at lightning speed, knocks the guns from everyone’s hands, thus bringing this all to a spectacular close. All assembled break into thunderous applause, causing the ageing sewer to collapse. Sort of a Wile E. Coyote ending.

….best artwork yet!……….Ape’s expression in the last panel is worth the price of admission, by itself……..

I hope Yeti survives, so Mark can be back. He is allowed to write only Yeti tales

Just be thankful I don’t write these stories along the lines of my comments.

I’d watch Daisy’s cane, though, especially if he has any Bulgarian friends.

You could have just shot her while she was saying that, but here we are…

I recall a certain episode of “Get Smart” with a scene a little like this.

Are Dick and Sam yelling in unison in the last panel?

Rose unloads into Yeti’s head and chest while dropping and swinging her auto-pistol to the left, taking out Ape and Ferret and maybe wounding a cop or two. Tracy nails Rose as Yeti’s dart narrowly misses him and ruins another hat. Daisy hobbles away into a future strip by Mark.

o the informis (yes i misspelled it ) everybody has a gun saying drop it ( snerk )

Still guessing this may turn into a circular firing squad.

Now I’m waiting for those Apparatus members we last saw diving down a subterranean escape hatch during the police raid to show up & get the drop on Tracy & Sam.

Soooo, you remember the two prospectors scene in TARANTULA?

This is a fine Sunday strip you’ve gotten us into, Shelley and Mark (or Wichita1.0, if you prefer)! I marvel at how that little last panel so elegantly manages to include all seven performers in this little stand-off drama! And in all the panels, such character studies!

But will everyone, including Rose, surrender to Dick and Sam, or can we still look forward to some fireworks and End of Days for some baddy or another?
