I think we know what happened insofar as the Environmental Impact Report was “published” – Israelites 1, Egyptian army 0. BTW doesn’t Moses look a lot like Wiley’s idea of God?? Just sayin’.
The GOP version would be to just send them all back to Egypt. Instead of coming here go back and work for Pharaoh, prove you are worthy of a better life.
And one of the main reasons that people migrate strikes home: people can’t afford to live where they are. The other main reason: people leave because they are afraid for themselves and their families of being persecuted, prosecuted, physically and/or economically harmed. In the US we are now seeing both reasons within our own borders — people are leaving California and other states because they can’t afford to live there and people are leaving Texas and other states because they fear for their safety FROM THEIR STATE GOVERNMENTS.
Whatever you do, don’t come to New England. It’s horrible. Earthquakes, Volcanos, giant snakes and man-eating plants, just to name a few awful things. No jobs and no parking places. All we have to eat, is cranberries and christmas fruitcake.
Now, Texas or Floriduh, that’s the place to go, everythings free in floriduh.
Born raised and still in Northern Kalifornia after 62 years I’ve seen the exodus out. We have another issue with WOKE Progressives leaving cities like frisco after turning it into a cesspool and trying to take their bags of cash into my rural county and change Us into what they ran away from in the Bay Area or Sacratomato. Feel free to come up and drink our wine spend your money then LEAVE. Right now, we have them trying to buy our little ranches and turn them into sort term rentals…not so fast Sparky. Just buy a condo at Kirkwood and leave us alone.
Eh, if this were accurate, there’d be someone paying these scientists off, to produce a report favorable to the developer. And then refusing to release the report until construction started, and it was too late to halt the project
I’ve heard that the only reason the Israelites had to wander for 40 years in the desert was that Moses was a man, and everybody knows men never stop to ask for directions.
It’s always expensive to live in a great place; i.e., Hawaii, south of France, better parts of Florida. It’s awful for those who can’t afford it, but …. don’t diss it.
Wiley, please don’t bash California/Californians. We get enough of that (ahem, New Yorkers), and it’s a cheap shot that’s not really funny or accurate.

Does an “Environmental Impact Report” ever get finished? I’d think there is always more to study.

When he raised it again the waters parted again – the path was clear.

Is that us supposed to be leaving or letting folks in?If leaving, we’re just people and somebody is going to just run over those unarmed EIR guys.
If they’re entering, dang right. Our state has enough environmental issues – mostly created by overcrowding.
