In the US we are now seeing both reasons within our own borders — people are leaving California and other states because they can’t afford to live there and people are leaving Texas and other states because they fear for their safety FROM THEIR STATE GOVERNMENTS.

Whatever you do, don’t come to New England. It’s horrible. Earthquakes, Volcanos, giant snakes and man-eating plants, just to name a few awful things. No jobs and no parking places. All we have to eat, is cranberries and christmas fruitcake.

It’s always expensive to live in a great place; i.e., Hawaii, south of France, better parts of Florida. It’s awful for those who can’t afford it, but …. don’t diss it.
