I am sure a lot of books can be found under the “Religion” segment – that will satisfy your curiosity. A lot of “research” has been done in that area by that lot – globally.
No one has mentioned a similar idea in one of the Harry Potter books. Hermione explains to Harry why his girlfriend Chloe was angry with him. Ron Weasley, who is in love with Hermione but expresses it in a similarly hostile way to Calvin’s “mild crush” on Susie, tells Hermione “You should write a book explaining to boys the weird things that girls do?”
Hermione is a lot like Susie in that she studies hard and has few friends. Ron has some similarities with Calvin but has a close friendship with Harry and Hermione. Ron’s older brothers Fred and George are about as mischievous and rebellious as Calvin.
At least this time Calvin’s not calling the county library about profanity. And at least he’s not speaking in a bad foreign accent to try and sound like a beeg eemportant rezearcher calling the pooblic lahbrorry.
Strange……..I don’t remember of us boys thinking girls were weird…….just different from us. Didn’t think (at the time) why they were just that they were and acted accordingly ! ! ! !
Reminds me of an exchange between a boy and his mother from one of the anime shows I watched as a kid:“Mom, why are girls crazy?”“They aren’t, honey. Their husbands make them that way.”

I’ll bet that there is a copy of the book on Suzie’s bookshelf. She consults it when she wants to be weird.

Most of our books are by girls because boys’ attention span is too short to write a book. Try the comic book store.

It’s all about networking, Calvin. Find other boys preferably teenagers. Ask them anything. They have all the answers and are never wrong about girls.

Librarians are usually female. There’s a clue right there, they have control over what information gets released…it’s a conspiracy. ;)

They aren’t weird, Calvin. They are just different. They only appear to be weird, because they are not like you. It works both ways.
In fact, I take pride in being weird in some other people’s eyes. It’s kind of like a badge of honor.
