I hear ’ya, Liz.

Yeah me too. But if last April’s 10" snowfall is any indication of the future, Winter is still lasting past the equinox after all.

When I lived in Colorado Springs, winter started in October and finished sometime around Memorial Day. There’s always a point where I realize how long it’s been since I’ve seen green leaves.

I agree with her, and it hardly snowed at all this winter where I am.

Liz is growing up. Children look at the snow and think how beautiful it is and how much fun it will be to play in. Adults look at it and think of how dangerous it will make the streets during their next commute.

I am never sick of winter.

So am I, Elizabeth.

Here in southern New England we got a lot less snow than usual this Winter, 2 feet below “normal” in fact.

We’re in a multi year disastrous drought, I would love to be “sick of it.”

Think it is more beautiful laying on the beach with the minimalist of clothing watching the dolphins jump the waves.

Same. We’ve had a few false starts to spring temps…. And then several more feet of snow.

Elizabeth, soon it will be spring, then will come summer, with the heat, mosquitos, gnats, chiggers, no-see-um flys and other Diptera’s, they you will be wishing it was cold and snowy again.

I’ll take the snow over the miserable months of July and August anytime.

I’m sick of it, too.

It’s 1 degrees (-17 C) right now, and there is at least 2 feet (60 cm) of snow on the ground. Yep, it’s the end of March. Yep, we’ve had snow on the ground since November. Yep, Spring can’t come soon enough !

Oh, amen to that! We have more than our share here in MN!

Where I live at we’ve hardly had snow, though western part of the state had plenty.

And she is not even the one who typically has to shovel the driveway and sidewalk! Snow, its great to visit but you wouldn’t want to live there.

Texas is NOT safe. Every redneck carries a rifle and thinks that is the solution to every issue. Plus your govenor wants to eradicate all LGBT people. Fake “christian” hypocrite. BTW, where was he when the power went down? Exactly.

I can relate.

Snow has appeal if you’re a kid and you ski, sled, toboggan, etc. in it. Once you have to shovel it, all that appeal goes right out the window. Along with the lack of pain in your back…..

It should be illegal to snow in March.

You had a beautiful, poetic thing going, and then you spoiled it! I like the snow better than the rain. At least the dogs don’t come in, doing their best impression of a sponge.
