Pretty old fashioned bathing suits… Here in Spain most leave the butt almost completely uncovered. Then again, a lot of the women don’t wear tops either. Men’s bathing suits are getting baggier and longer, while women’s are getting skimpier.Whatever happened to Speedos?

Just be glad he didn’t the whole time telling dad jokes.

John is so clueless that he doesn’t even notice that his daughter is becoming a woman.

That may have been funny 30 years ago, but if dad did that today, he’d be accused of all sorts of things. Not kidding.

Unfortunately a person whom I will not name has been quoted for his (ahem) non-fatherly interest in his own daughter.

When you get older you will remember this fondly.

All parents become inconvenient at one point or another. That’s why we “leave the nest”.

Dawn’s hand on her belly would have left an interesting pattern in her tan. A friend of mine went to sleep on the beach with her husband’s hand on her back. She woke up with a perfect white hand print in the middle of her back. Took a long time to fade, too.

Grampa used to do/say this kind of thing … In retrospect, he was very funny; at the time(s), not so much. I miss him.

Sounds like a time where a girl in college decided it was time to consider marriage, so she signed up for a dating service. The date she was set up with; her father!

In this case, they laughed about both having the same goal: seeking spouses. (The girl’s father was a widower and thinking it was time for him to remarry).

Maybe that was odd then. Now it is mainstream. My old running mate, Creepy Joe, is in the White House today.

This is from an artist who regularly rails against girls showing skin. The last time we saw these two in bikinis, they covered up when they were outside. Dad is giving them a gentle reminder to cover or they will receive this kind of attention from older men. Also, the artist has a thing about showing John ogling young girls, so it also fits that way. The best of both worlds.
