Goldie, along with Burt, trying to steer the boys away from spilling the beans. Just look at that face Goldie is pulling! Burt’s SHHHHHHHHHHHHH is spot on.
Burt, Goldie isn’t going to out the Racoon Kits live on air. She simply dosen’t want Puck accidently scarring them. And Beatrix must have done her homework.. or simply asked her new racoon friends because I don’t know how puck would know this. Though i’m sure given what strip this is , if it’s not her Gerogia has some valid explination for Puck knowing this lore because she’s 80 steps ahead. I forgot both abotu the racoon kits and the opossum/racoon wars , both things that were present but off to the side before this arc, before this arc brought both into focus.
I would have to guess the question is " If it’s neither here nor there, then where is it ?". Or maybe " what do they do with all the little metal pieces that they cut out of flutes ?" Or, “if dogs sweat out their tongues, why do they have armpits ?”
Point well taken, Goldie; however, you seem to be drawing attention to it. I can almost see Goldie confiding in Puck, swearing him to secrecy … then Elvis finds out somehow … then Lupin broadcasts it on air. Or will Bea spill the beans? Stay tuned …
Beatrixia: Here are some scrolls from the famous humorist, Erma Bombosis, The Grass is Always Greener Where There’s Water, Just Wait Until You Have Kittens. And a few others.
Puckmosis: This does look like a job Beaver Lee Cleary could help with.
Bea: Let’s head back to the palace and ask Her Majesty to let us take a trip to Afar.
Puck: Good Idea. Just watch out for flying potatoes and thwumping kittens. Talpi Mole is having Lawn Potato practice, and Lupinium is having half time practice.
At the oPyramid Pantry
Thomios: We’ll need some help bringing these foodstuffs to the Palace, Uncle Floof.
Floofnet: I think the camels will help, and I’ll bet some young cats and chipmunks can help with carrying the food.
Outside
Puck: Ready to go back?
Thomios: Any time.
Plunk!
Bea: Watch where you’re throwing those potatoes, guys!
Maybe you shouldn’t be less then subtly reprimanding them about that live and on the air either, or else your viewers might put two with two and deduce what you’re trying to hide. ;)
Since gocomics is no longer allowing links to be posted, the most common way of getting around that is to edit the link and add the word “dot” in place of the actual period used.
So just take out the period and type in “dot”. Most people will get this, as it’s one of the easiest tricks to get around sites that block hyperlinks.
OT Go Comics has made a change that no longer allows me to put links from my Google Drive of my banjo playing. Been doing ever since I had a Go Comic paid premium account.
Shared this recently on 10 Cats strip:
After back surgery to relieve Sciatica in 2013 an EMG indicated I had the highest level of severe progressive polyneuropathy. Now 87 & still manage to walk 2+ miles every day. It helps, however sitting too long makes polyneuropathy a bit angry. Besides being very active, keeping the rust of the strings of my banjo collection tames the polyneuropathy dragons.
The reason for GoComics removing exterior links is a good one: All it takes to get them in legal troubles is some jerk posting links to offensive or dangerous sites—and we know there are commenters on other strips who might think of doing just that, if they haven’t already. So yes, it’s a bit of a hassle for those of us who would never do such a thing. And although I would prefer the ability to link internally, that is not only more complicated, internal links could be used against innocent users. Some of you know the vitriol found in comments on other strips, which an internal link could go to. Nasty people do nasty things, and some are quite creative, in a perverted sort of way. This is basically just an extension of “never click on a link in an email unless you personally know the sender.”
Life imitates art. On a trip to the Dollar General around the corner, I happened to glance up at a grungy pickup truck parked next to me as I was leaving. The back window of the truck was adorned with muddy raccoon handprints—so cute! The prints, not the truck. I wonder if they were seeking refuge in the truck bed from high water from last night’s storms.
Note to everyone (so this isn’t buried in replies) — if you want to post a link, you now have to change all periods to (space)dot(space).
That means that we have to go through a few more steps, instead of highlight, right-click, and “open link in new tab”, you highlight, copy, manually open new tab (or window), paste, and edit (space)dot(space) back into a period.
Ah, and I just experimented — you only have to change the period before com; the one after www is just fine.
I don’t know about URLs that have embedded periods after the com; we might have to experiment further.

I love that Goldie and Burt are keeping the secret. After all, a secret a little bit broached is like a woman that’s a little bit pregnant.

Those old ways, haven’t seen them in a while
They’re what’s been, times cruel and hostile
Raccoons and oPossums now do things differently
It’s not the same, they can co-exist peacefully
So let’s leave them alone ‘cause cats can’t see eye to eye
There ain’t no good guy, there ain’t no bad guy
Only Puck and Goldie and they just disagree
Ooh ooh ooh, oh oh oh
