The ‘nude’ ascended the staircase much faster.

Surprised Mom did not enact “The Scream”.

Fast forward 20 years, still running around naked, but wearing a raincoat.

She’s upset, because she did the same thing 9 months before Calvin was born.

I must admit that I neither understand nor admire that particular piece of art. Please note that I do not put the word “art” in quotes. It is widely admired; just not by me.

Funny the stair rail had to be dangerously shortened by one step for Calvin to make a proper appearance…

I like Mom’s expression. She’s used to Calvin doing things that he doesn’t realise are annoying and she knows he can be much worse than this. She looks as though she will be quiet but firm with Calvin. The last panel also suggests this.

Mom and Dad sometimes take Calvin to a museum or an art gallery. It may have been a trip to an art gallery which inspired Calvin’s attempt at live art.

Our local Civic Theatre presented the play “Nude with a Violin” many years ago. As I recall the play didn’t live up to its name.

“That is Priceless” should be notified.

And that’s what you have to deal with for trying to suppress your child’s creative imaginations so they’ll grow up to be mindless office drones.

At least in this NDS, one can grasp the figure and the context. No clue about the original unless the profile was reflected in a number of mirrors set at different angles or painted as if it were time lapse photograph. Which suggestion merely shows I have no clue.

Why would this be an issue? He seems to be having a positive body image, not hurting anybody else (for once). It’s a much healthier outlet than pelting the neighbor girl with rocks.

Art is whatever you can get away with.

That’s the second time Calvin has done this.

I doubt you will be impressive at any age there Calvin.

The Cramps (“Goo Goo Muck”, the song used for Jenna Ortega’s ‘Wednesday Dance’) have another song called ‘Naked Girl Falling Down the Stairs’.

His problem is that “nude descending a staircase” doesn’t look anything like a nude, or a staircase. Look it up.

Fella, mother is the artist who designed you. And artist rarely get impressed by their own art.

Performance Art.

It’s just not as accessible to the average person.
