Are the moles in panel 1 playing cards?

Another beautiful sky. A beautiful plan, and when Queen Mag meets beautiful Burt, possibly the beginning of the end for Montague.

LeslieAnn beat me to it, but, I can’t help wonder what card game the moles are playing? 3 card Monte? Probably Go Fish.

Of course, Baba Mouse and oPericles were friends! Great way to sneak the raccoons back to Baba.

I guess yesterday was a sunset, not a sunrise leading to another wonderful night sky.

But what is that round object above the lantern in the middle panel?

Apparently it is commonplace for opossums to wander around in white robes?

I love all the smiles in the last panel.

Why, I do believe she’s blushing while asking about Burt. Could it be that she, too, has a not-so-secret crush on Burt?

This is so beautifully drawn Georgia. I can almost hear the crickets sing and feel the cool night breeze. A perfect night for intrigue.

Moles on watch duty playing cards cracks me up. But then they fail to catch 2 very unlikely robed, black-nosed opossums? Everyone knows opossum noses are opink! Of course, moles having poor eyesight would account for that, but do they also have poor sense of smell?

Monet Chagall Cat from Away: Yes. I’ve always liked the idea of wearable art. I’ve seen some fabulous designs from this studio, and want to learn more.

Maat-Tilda: Awhile back I designed a wardrobe for Lupinium when he went through his pink phase.

Mo: I heard about that. How did he achieve pink?

Adobe Style: I understand tomatoes were involved.

Mo: I’ve thought black and silver were a great combination.

Soph: I know just the cat for that. Our own grand vizier.

Mo: Do you think he’d let me design him an outfit?

Okay, is this a battle between Wicket and the Mole King against the Raccoons and Opossums or are they planning a wedding? I mean seriously. The only thing that takes this long to plan these days is some bridezillas wedding.

Seriously the Anglo-Zanzibar War between Great Britain and Zanzibar Sultanate only lasted 45 minutes and Israel defeated Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq in six days.

Hi… I don’t usually say much on BCN but love the strip as it is my absolute fave… This morning our little Gladdy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge…. We were so fortunate to have this little Gorgeous Girl … My SweetHeart for 22 years…and although I am so grateful for the Love she brought into our lives… I am so heartbroken right now…. Thanks for letting me vent…..k
