John F. Kennedy 1963: “Ich bin ein Berliner”

Ronald Reagan 1987: “Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”

Donald Trump 2024: “I would encourage [the Russians] to do whatever the hell they want [to our NATO allies].”

We have always known that Russians groomed Trump and some of his cronies for years before he ran for the presidency, that Putin (as he admitted to reporters in Helsinki, Finland, while standing right next to Trump who then stated that he trusted Putin more than the seventeen heads of his intelligence agencies) helped influence the 2016 campaign, and that Trump will criticize anyone — adversaries, allies, close friends, ANYONE — except Putin about whom he has never said a bad word. What is it that Putin is holding over his head? It can’t just be sex tapes — the shameless Trump is not capable of personal embarrassment — it must be that Putin has evidence of business crimes and/or international treachery and betrayal of sensitive secrets possibly even rising to the level of treason.

Now Trump admits that he would not only support Putin over non-NATO allies like Ukraine, but that he would even support Putin over NATO allies and even encourage Russians to invade or “do whatever the hell they want” to our NATO allies if they were not aggressive enough in building up their own military defenses.

Traitor Trump is a menace, not only to the United States, but to all western democratic republics.

The Disciples claim to be worried about how much it will cost to support allies.

They have no idea of the cost of abandoning them.

    .

    Those pesky analysis skills.

Too bad NATO members cannot vote in our elections. Though I bet if there’s a Q-ish type reading this, it will start showing up as a verified truth that the Democrats will make it possible.

He would love to do that.

It’s easy to destroy a thing. It’s far harder to build (trust, diplomatic channels, communication, et cetera).

It is more likely that all except tRumps first wife were personally chosen by the head of the KGB and placed as honey traps. Putin is smart enough and tRump stupid enough for this to be the real reason that tRump keeps marrying women from Communist countries.

Can you even begin to imagine the howls of rage from the “patriots” on the right if Biden or Obama had EVER made such a statement?

We don’t need no allies. America First. Fortress America. The hell with the rest of the world except what we need and can exploit. Worked in the non-existent past, right?

I am terrified that he will be installed into the WH again. He should not have the dangerously corrupt influence he has over the GQP faction in Congress. He is a private citizen now and he never won the popular vote. They allow him to dictate his wishes to them and they do them. This should not be happening or allowed.

Insurrectionist Trump is as faithful to our allies as he is to his wives, the rule of law or his oath of office.

When Trump dies, the weeping and whaling of dozens of political cartoonists will be heard all over the US. I don’t like him, but I’m so sick of seeing so much emphasis put on him when there are so many others who deserve roasting as well as he.

Trump is just demanding that NATO members be as jingoistic as the US, and likewise that the Europeans flush away as much of their economy to the military as the US does. I don’t see how that makes him any different from the Democrats but in the tone of his obnoxious blustering.

Gimme a hand here, people, I’m looking for more verses:

     Who Is He?

A lecher, a liar, an election denier.

    A taker, a faker, a financial book-baker.

    A berater, a traitor, a would-be dictator.
