Yes, THE CONVICTED FELON may finally get to see what justice and accountability are about. May he get YEARS to experience it.

CONVICTED FELON Dirty Don the Drowsy Dozing CON

Too long in coming, but after the Courts have given him every break, including not throwing his rear end in jail for in-custody detainment after the third or fourth time he violated a court order, the first step in holding CONVICTED FELON Dirty Don the Drowsy Dozing CON accountable for the first time in his sorry, miserable existence.

    One down, three to go.

After at least 50 years the long time crook Trump is now a CONVICTED FELON. Hats off to the impartial jury of his peers and to the New York prosecutor who had the moxie and courage to bring this criminal to at least a modicum of justice. Long overdue.

Two things happened yesterday. 1) They sealed Trumps return to the Presidency. 2) They set a precedent for bringing past Presidents to justice for “crimes” committed while in office.Remember this Dems. A little soon to be counting chickens. Yes, we are a small step closer to seeing sweet potato hitler in a jumpsuit that matches his bad spray tan, but there is a looong way to go and not much time to get there. I am astonished that he was actually found guilty. I was certain that there would be at least one magat on the jury who would say “not guilty, I don’t care what the evidence shows.” But either there wasn’t or the case was so clear that even they said “Ok I guess he is guilty”. But there’s still the appeals, the sentencing hearings, the…well, delay delay delay. And if he gets back in the white house (and his conviction will just send his poll numbers through the roof) then all this will be meaningless. I am SLIGHTLY more optimistic that he will finally be held truly accountable, but I ain’t popping the champagne until that cell door clangs shut…maybe not even then.

So many questions, so few answers. Will the MAGA scum still vote for him? ( They will because that is what scum does ). If he is elected President of the United States, ( barf ), will he be kept under house arrest at the White House or will he run the United States of America from prison?

Google: Federal Bureau of Prisons Programming for Older Inmates

“Bureau of Prisons has recognized that older offenders need more assistance and support than younger offenders. Living quarters in prisons are designed to protect the older inmates from physical and health ailments.”

If he runs the United States of America from prison, how much telephone time will he get? Will the prison require that he do regular prison work like laundry or kitchen duties?

The trial was more fair for Trump than it would be for any of us. He got away with things that would have resulted in our being jailed. That said, nobody is above the law. Now, get on with the other trials.

Here’s what’s important to remember. Despite the screeches of the right, this was a state court (the DOJ declined to have anything to do with this). A grand jury had to be convinced that there was sufficient evidence to issue an indictment. The jury was selected through the normal process and agreed upon by both sides. During the trial, the defendant was show such preferential treatment as to be sickening. Who else could be found in contempt 10 times and not be jailed? The jury of his peers found him guilty by doing what is normal in criminal court — they deliberated amongst themselves, reviewed the evidence, and arrived at a verdict. Every single aspect of this was done in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, where the crimes were committed.

The convict’s protestations that the whole thing was a “witch hunt” and was “rigged” sound exactly like every other convict. I used to do prison ministry, and what Trump said sounds like all the rest. He’s a broken record.

Now, other screams from the right say that this will open the flood gates of political persecution because — gasp! — a former president has been convicted of a crime. But keep this in mind: A) Many many politicians at all other levels of government including senators and governors have been convicted of crimes and sent to prison. And yet, somehow, the republic stood. Are we to believe our nation is so weak that it cannot withstand the imprisonment of one utterly corrupt former president? B) Trump’s long history of trouble with the law means this should have been easy to predict years ago. He has decades of legal problems and only avoided jail for all those years because he was rich and powerful. Anyone else would have been jailed decades ago for what he merely got fines.

Please note: No MAGA-GOP person has ever claimed that Trump did not do what he has been accused of, be it New York, Mar a Loco, DC, or Georgia. Their only position has been that Trump should not be tried for any of these crimes because he is Trump. That is pure B.S. Is is ignorance or maliciousness?

It is unlikely that we will see any orange jumpsuits resulting from this trial. So far, the New York justice system has bent over backwards to be sure that Trump is treated just as any other person in his position would be treated. If they continue to do that, and they will, because they are under heavy scrutiny from both directions, he will pay a large fine, and be put on probation. He will have to have his travel plans OKd by his probation officer. Ordinarily, he wouldn’t be allowed to leave the jurisdiction, but exceptions might be made for this when necessary for business. Overseas travel will almost certainly be prohibited. Probably won’t want to campaign out of the country anyway. But, would be decidedly inconvenient and embarrassing for the president to have to skip a summit meeting in Europe because he isn’t allowed out of the country. And, no, he can’t pardon himself for this, because it is a state court and the president can only pardon federal crimes.

Of course, if he is elected, he has said he wants to be dictator for one day. And that is the day that all of his crimes, as well as the witnesses and prosecutors will simply disappear. Then, as dictator, he will decide one day wasn’t near enough.

I was pleased as punch to hear that DJT got convicted on all counts. We’ll have to wait for mid July for sentencing though. And Trump’s lawyers will be petitioning the NY Court of Appeals before then, no doubt. It’s likely that even if the appeal is rejected, Trump will get probation as opposed to jail time. And his oversized ego will still keep him as the GOP Presidential nominee. So, the voters will be giving the final verdict on Trump in November. My hope is that Trump gets defeated in November and that the Democrats widen their Senate majority and win back the House. So Trump won’t have the chance to order his choice for AG to dismiss the cases in FL (Mar a Lago documents) and GA (Election interference). If Trump doesn’t get back in the White House, he can’t hold off those other cases forever.

Remember, when David Crosby went to prison? They made him shave his hair and mustache. He looked pathetic. If Trump goes to prison even for a few months and is forced to shave his ever more wispy comb-over and go without his orange bronzer, perhaps even maggots would see how pale and pathetic he really is.
