I’m especially curious whether extinct Homini preceded the “flood” & associated rescue watercraft tale or were wiped out in some separate event(s).
Homini refers to extinct members of the human lineage, some of which are now quite well known from fossil remains: H. neanderthalensis (the Neanderthals), H. erectus, H. habilis, and various species of Australopithecus.
I’ve searched the most true & accurate “history” (snark) book ever written for this information, but it is strangely (snark) silent on this topic (hee hee).

… Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth again. … And you, Noah, have your people follow My word, and love and care for each other and My creation.

Meanwhile, if Noah took every kind of animal on his ark, did he have special tanks for the whales and dolphins?

Noah was the first to use quantum computing, what with those qubits and all.

At least he has the animals. Now all he needs is an ark. Simple trip to Home Depot.

“NOAH, this is God” – remember the Bill Cosby monolog about Noah. What a blast that was.
