Stone Soup! Still a thing!

Rock soup is great. Add some cabbage, meats (pork, poultry, beef), potatoes, carrots, onion, salt, garlic, pepper, other assorted vegetables to the rock in the water, and you’ll be amazed how a rock can make such a great broth.

Didn’t it get away from all of them at the same time?

A good solid meal is something that you shouldn’t take for granite.

Add a touch of gall and you got flavor.

Somebody is stewing alright…

The first time I ever heard the story Stone Soup was when I was a preteen and it was on an episode of Little House on the Praire. Good story on how sharing helps everyone involved.
