There are some theories now that the pyramids were built long before the Egyptians. Also that they weren’t originally tombs, they were designed to harness some kind of energy (which has been forgotten). Very interesting stuff!

In reality, not one pyramid has been shown to contain any bodies. In other words they were not tombs. We are still not sure what they were.

That they used logs to move the blocks from the quarry is believed to be accurate.
