Ah Chip, another completely apt cartoon and totally encapsulating the term ‘Born Loser’. Not destroying him, but subtly letting him know that he has just come second in the ‘Battle of the Sexes’. Priorities Brutus, priorities! So to all of us losers (and the occasional winner) lets go and enjoy the Superb Owl!

The target audience for commercials is 18-49. I left that over two decades ago. It’s been years since I found SB commercials even remotely entertaining.

Yes, the Super Bowl is the one football game of the year in which you use the bathroom during the game plays.

I hate when they interrupt the commercials for the game. My team hasn’t been in the Super Bowl for over a decade. ;-(

Not that you’re gonna get to do it, Brutus, but I don’t think an hour is enough of a “buffer”, even if you are gonna watch the Half-Time Show. If you intend(ed) to skip Half-Time, two-and-a-half hours (9 PM) is what I’d give it…

There is that for some. However, I like to see those impromptu moments that occur as they happen. However, today I am afraid that I will just have to see the highlights of the game, if even that due to circumstances. My advice to Brutus though would be to just watch the game as it occurs. Have fun my friends…..

Gladys is right. I’d fast-forward through the actual game so you can focus on that commercials. Plus I heard that a commercial spot is going for up to $8 million this year! Yikes!

Must be on the East Coast since the big game starts at 3:30 in the West. And Gladys is right. The commercials is half the fun to watch. A few years back they had the stars of Breaking Bad reprising their characters to sell a new snack chip. I can’t recall the name of it but I bought a bag and they weren’t that great however

I don’t necessarily agree with Gladys Butt… I don’t disagree either. SuperBowl is an event that should be enjoyed in totality. Having said that… Pitchers and Catchers report next week… LET’S GOOOOOO!!!!!

The commercials for today’s Superb Owl are available in YouTube as of Friday night. Watched them already. Will be watching a recording I made of the recent Grey Cup (number 111) instead.

Skip everything. I used to watch the Puppy Bowl – but they ruined it with the new format a few years ago. Now the puppies are hardly on screen until they are pulled back off.

Once upon a time I always knew when Super Bowl Sunday was, because my father-in-law’s birthday was in late January. We’d usually plan to take him out to dinner on Super Bowl Sunday, because restaurants were virtually empty and the service was great (no comment on the activity in the bar — if the place had one — or elsewhere in the restaurant).

These day, I wouldn’t know when the game is scheduled, except that it gets enough news coverage to make me aware of it. But regardless, I’m always aware that the commercials are a very big deal to many people. Gotta get with it, Brutus.

I watch mainly for the commercials.

I decided not to see this year’s stupid bowl, this nation’s great crier liar be in the stadium, supported by all his rich contributors, especially Kraft owner of the New England Pats. Fox TV will focus so much on the out-of-touch agent’s orange face and his phony smirk. Red States beware this clown just cut federal assistance and froze hiring especially our great firefighters. USAID which farmers from East to West depend on for income, so all MAGA cult followers wait until they are homeless, unemployed, with no medical coverage, no longer lower costs on medication and insurance coverage. FEMA eliminated, which has always been there to support all States, especially resulting from global warming tragedies. So red states your warn don’t depend on any federal assistance, and your proud golden fake gold Buddha is laughing on his way to the bank with more corrupted revenue, this felon always a felon.
