Brutus is not wrong. During the holidays, I like to throw away extra for the bigger steaks. This past one, I scored a huge porterhouse! Loved it! Worth every penny!

We got our beef from a local grower last year, and we are still enjoying it. I encourage everyone to try this. The difference is unbelievable.

Government guidelines say that sedentary adults should consume 0.75g [around 0.03oz] of protein per kg of their own body weight per day, e.g. somebody who weighs 70kg [154lb], should consume 56g [around 2oz] of protein per day. Body-builders can absorb double that amount. More than that will just go down the toilet.

In the old days, a steak was T-bone, two feet long and four inches thick. (Mm!) These days we’re talking second mortgage on your house to pay for it! That’s IF you can find a butcher to hand-slice one!

Somehow, killing an innocent animal even a baby animal just so you can grill it, really does not appeal to me in any way.

It’s true, though, knowing you get what you paid for he made a wise choice?

You have a point, Brutus. I can’t afford ribeye, though. I’ll be having a nice bit of flank steak tonight with mashed potatoes.

Brutus should patronize Raoul Mendoza’s butcher shop rather than Todd Sweeney’s. It won’t cost him an arm and a leg.

Spot on Brutus. Dine well. I hate to see people burn their steaks calling them well done. Tears me eyes up. Should have to eat burnt eggs, burnt bread and burnt baked taters and fried salad.

Brutis you dolt. It’s not Todd Sweeneys Butcher Shop, it’s Sweeney Todd’s butcher shop. That’s why the prices keep going up, the supply chain is going down.

My wife likes to save money. She purchased some steaks for dinner that was less than half the regular price. They were mostly gristle and bone. At least the dogs enjoyed the steaks. You do get what you pay, if you go to an honest butcher.
