As I’ve said before, magats have no concept of truth or falsehood. They know only what benefits or supports Their Messiah. Anything else doesn’t count.

Trump’s life consists of one vile, disgusting episode after another — and magats have an excuse/rationalization for each and every one of them.

They believe his sexual assaults and adultery shows him to be an alpha male. His draft evasion and tax evasion shows him to be smart. His pulling out of Open Skies and giving top secret information isn’t Treason, it’s Trump being smart again.

Or something.

Kate needs a nice story for a change. Of course, I can picture Cap’n Eddie with math that would put Danae’s insanity to shame…..

This is like Jeopardy. Teacher should give a test that contains 20 answers and challenge students to come up with equations that match the answers. Disallow equations like 18 = 18. Danae may find that this is just as much work as a normal quiz.

Reminds me of an old joke:

A mathematician, a Statistician and an Accountant are in for a job interview.

The interviewer calls in the mathematician first, the interview goes well and for the last question the interviewer asks, “What does two plus two equal?”

The mathematician replies, “Assuming we are utilizing a base-10 numeral system, the answer would be ‘Four’.”

The interviewer says great and then calls in the statistician, and after another good interview he asks the same question, “What does two plus two equal?”

The statistician says, "With such a small sample size the answer is ‘four’ give or take point three percent, but on 9 times out of 10 the answer will be ‘four’.”

Satisfied, the interviewer then calls in the accountant and at the end of the interview poses the same question, “What does two plus two equal?”

The accountant leans forward towards the interviewer and asks in a quiet voice that no one can hear outside of the office, “What do you want it to be?”

You own a store.

You get robbed, repeatedly, and you’re not sure who it is, but you’re still going broke.

Someone comes in and looks at the videos and says, “That’s who robbed you!”

And you want to blame the person who identified the robber.

Sheeeeyut, kiddies! Maybe you want to rethink who’s to blame???

Naaaah, fughettaboutit. It’s just business!

Is the answer you arbitrarily decide on the one the teacher wanted to see for that question? Doesn’t how brilliant the math if the answer wrong.

Remember in high school where math textbooks started having answers to the even numbered problems in the back of the book. Of course, the teachers would assign the odd numbered problems.

Every once in a while, they would assign the ‘evens’. Next day, they would ask how many got the “correct” answer to a specific problem. Hands would go up…only to find out an incorrect answer was printed. Oops!

Danae is good at finding loopholes; she’ll make a great politician someday.

This is basically how conservatives understand the world: you start with a conclusion, then you find information sources (principally Fox News, but also OAN, etc.) that support your conclusion.

Actually that is how differential equations are solved. Also if you don’t quite remember the equation just fiddle it until the units are correct.

When I was taking a math course in “proof by induction” we would start at the beginning, jump to the end, and then work toward the middle.
