“We need to go get Granny Bitty.” Yeah, probably should have started with that. If you can’t find her, Baba Mouse will probably do.

“It sounds like they’re all ok in there.” That, of course, depends greatly on you definition of “ok.”

Um. Is the woman not noticing that she is vacuuming leprechauns? Or can only children and cats see them?

I’m no expert on vacuum cleaners but wouldn’t there be a vacuum inside the machine? Not even magical leprechauns would be “ok” after that.

Also, I decided to modify my username. “Ambush Kitten” had a feminine connotation (so I’ve been told) and I’ve grown weary of explaining that I’m a rugged, macho guy. :)

It could be both funny and sad.

So, what’s the collective noun for a group of leprechauns? In this case, would it be a Bag o’ Blarney?

I’d be freaking out if my vacuum came to life like that. I would think mice was taking over the vacuum and my cat would be going crazy attacking the vacuum? Please, I do not need that actually happening here!

The leprechauns never had a chance.

My reaction was exactly what Lupin’s is! This is funny and sad at the same time.

Not sad at all. Exactly what should be done with leprechauns.

Since I’m imagining that a bag full of leprechauns, would sound like squealing gerbils, then yeah…I think it’s funny…HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

I think the old matriarch might be the perfect person to sort this out. Reminds me of a funny BCN quote that went something like “Reports indicate she’s okay, so it’s hilarious.” I got a good laugh out of that one.

That very lumpy vacuum cleaner bag filled with leprechauns makes me snicker. As does the very self-satisfied smirk on its face.

Irish folklore doesn’t talk about this! Its cats to the rescue time!!!

The vacuum attachment and hose must be part snake. Only way those chubby little leprechauns would fit through the opening is if the ‘jaws’ could open wider. :-)

Well considering that legend has it that leprechauns descend from the union of the son of an “evil spirit” and a “degenerate fairy” it is best of if the Pink House on the Hill is divested of the wee little buggers. The mischief they cause can come to no good.

Well, we’ve stuffed ’em, but when do we cuff ’em?

My vacuum sucked up a piece of hard plastic, and it’s stuck in the fan area never to be removed. Thump. Thump. Thump. What that would do to a leprechaun body isn’t a nice thing to think about.

Yes, go find Granny Bitty. She will teach that vacuum a thing or two.

In every vacuum I’ve seen or disassembled, the fan is always downstream of the collection bag or container.

Mine has a clear plastic collection area. I would get to see Whirled Green People!
