Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I canât help noticing how Carlos seems to always have a well built rugged He-Man as one of the bad guy bunch. I was wondering if this was a slightly altered Freddy boy, as he would want to change his appearance a bit in order to avoid easy detection. They should hire Charles part time over at Andy Capp as HE KNOWS how to do wall paintings that look like a lot more than an early morning fog in the bay shot.
Anyone else notive the strip was more fun when Mike writes it â regardless how you might feel about his writting, it was entertaining. Ericâs writing just seems formuletic. Not bad, but DICK TRACY has a flavor to it that seems to be missing of late. The Supporting cast of characters beyond the MCU for instance. Chet had those characters for a reason, and I think Eric is missing that â unless Mike when he returns has plans and asked Eric to downplay the supporting cast.
When Chet Gould wrote and drew the strip, we were introduced to the characters first and understood their motivation before the crime was committed. itâs hard to follow the storyline because I think Eric canât follow the storyline himself.
1- JACKIE CHAN: FOOLS! IâD PUNCH YOU BOTH IN THE SACK IF THEY WERENâT EMPTY!!!
2- BLONDIE: My sack isnât empty., Auntie. Itâs like, stuffed with two cantaloupes â this big! SONNY: Mineâs empty. I remember when you cut âem off in 7th Grade and said you didnât want me growing up like Dad. I can still grow a bichin stache thoughâŚ
3- DAD: Give the boys a break honey. You shouldâve told them just to take the guyâs sack. Thatâs all you wanted anyway â because you feel bad about Sonny? You wanted to fix him â right?
JACKIE: GRRRRR! THOSE DOLTS WOULDâVE BROUGHT BACK SOME WOMANâS OVARIES!!! WAIT! GO BACK TONIGHT AND GET SOME OVARIES â 3 PAIR! IâLL FIX ALL OF YOU!
Dick Tracy is a comic strip that operates in an exaggerated storytelling mode, entertaining us with outlandish plots about corpse theft and so forth. But it can also touch on very real, down-to-earth issues, like the problem of inadequate nephews. Are your nephews good-for-nothings who donât even have the skills and/or gumption to properly steal a dead body? Dick Tracy sees you, and hears you, and knows you are valid.
I just now opened this page @ 20 past 11 am MST and already I see 170 postings. For a âbadâ story this thing is a runaway success. Eric should be elated that his stories are getting more talk than Mikeâs and some others who have contributed story content. Break out the party Goods, Eric âcause yore going places ! :-)
OT SCREAMING RANT: Ah, âtis Tax Time, that merry time of giggles and guffaws. And whatâs wrong with TRYING (note ) to get my waddling quackers duly lined up n advance? WellllâŚHotmail, plain and simple.
I have two accounts for audio books: one for those Iâve narrated, and for those adapted from my books. Well, Hotmail lost the e-mail password for one, which I need in order to access the one account. I have spent three days and about 40 tries to reset it and gotten nowhere.
So bad that, after try # 41, I took a hot bath and considered never coming out. I just want to change the contact e-mail to another provider and dump the secondary Hotmail account.

What on earth did they want the body for? Itâs not as if anybody needs to steal bodies for medical research these days.

Is this new villain called Auntie Alliteration?
LawrenceS 2 days ago
Well, the question I asked a couple days ago was why did they want to steal an unidentified body, cause of death unknown? Question is still out there.
My top guess was that something about the victim or the method will point to them.
