I know how she feels. When I was four my mother and Aunt left the husbands home and took me to visit a very wealth relative. They served us corned beef hash. ( The butler served it) I loudly announced that I hated corned beef hash. My mother must have been so embarrassed.
From Lynn’s Comments: I once invited a little friend for dinner—without first asking my mom. Mom was a generous person so I couldn’t understand why she was angry with me. I had no idea that we couldn’t afford to share the 4 pork chops she’d planned to cook, so she made was a “stew” out of them. I never did that again.

EVERY kid likes lasagna. (Well, ok, some people put things in lasagna a kid might not like…)

Elly needs to learn to say no to April. Every time the kid begs or throws a tantrum she gives in.

I like the touch of Becky sitting on a book. That brings back the memory of my sitting on a copy of the Columbus, Ohio, Yellow Pages.

Lasagna – it’s what’s for dinner. Your choice is to eat it or not. I’m good with either choice.
