I seem to remember that Tommy’s Woman is a big fan of purple, so it makes sense that she would like the purple room. Nice to see that Violet and Natasha remembered to send a postcard. I wonder if they sent any other ones.

Who delivered that postcard? (And was it a ghost?)

That purple wallpaper looks harmless now. But

Is that a vinyl record on the floor and what is the black thing with a wire attached to it, a mouse (of a different type)??

Are those paw print designs embedded in the velvet wallpaper?

Our first house came with green striped velvet flocked wallpaper in the bathroom. The kids eventually discovered that the velvet flocked stripes could be peeled off the paper. Sigh…

I was wondering if we’d see the girls travel photos.

The next postcard says, ‘We are glad your not here! This purple hurts your eyes!’

The pom-poms on those curtains wouldn’t last long with cats around.

That is a lovely room, and a good reminder of Natasha and Violet’s journey through the Big Pink House. Now this makes me wonder how the postcard got to Puck. Do the animals have their own mail carrier, and if so, does Elvis doubt their existence?

Violet must love being in the Purple Room.

The Purple Room looks like it might be untouched since the eighteen-seventies.

I don’t see a selfie stick, so who took the photo? Do cell phone cameras have a timer function? (I’ve never had a cell phone so I’m clueless.)

So people knew about the rooms in the addition all along, it’s just the hidden door to the main house that’s a surprise?

Either the mice have grown very large, or this is a very small room. Nice detail on how a cat holds a postcard

Purple is the most depressing color. The only places it looks good are in sunrises and sunsets.

So if the purple room is on the first floor then it isn’t the room behind the door since they are on the second floor.

Years ago we had a roommate who painted his room purple. It took two coats to cover it after he left.

I remember velvet wallpaper. Crushed velvet was fashionable in the ‘70’s

I believe we have found WinniFred Quinn’s private apartment.

Dark wood sounds nice, but purple velvet wallpaper? Pass.

I am not sure wallpaper, purple or otherwise, was a “thing” in the 70s, except maybe in San Francisco where it was holding up the walls of the old Victorian houses.
