An unknown door! The cats must demand to know what is on the other side of it immediately!

(And then demand that it be left open at all times!)

Lupin is about to go on an EPIC run. But which kitty will play probing paws under the door?

That chart is confusing me. I thought the new rooms were on the right side of the building, but this shows them on the back side. Or is Goldie holding it sideways?

And, while Puck might be hesitant to go explore further, He IS giving us some thinly veiled TOEBEANS!

We’re still waiting for news about the old bedroom’s new function.

Obviously there is still more to explore Goldie.

And now we see the work of the catographers.

Gee Monty, can I see what is behind door number 1? Looks like the gang is about to go on a new adventure to find out what lurks behind the mysterious door.

Looks like Goldie is using a Dixon Ticonderoga No. 2 pencil. “Accept no substitutes!”

Just keep all certain, pyro minded kittens(and any easily combustible materials) away from said, Mystery Door!

Looks like Puck and Elvis have assumed window loaf position.

She does nice work!

It’s good to see Elvis and Puck settling in and calming down.

What will the Old Bedroom become, do you think? Drawing studio?

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile

Puckmosis: Thanks for agreeing to take us to Afar, Kara and Vann. And it isn’t even Wednesday.

Kara: No problem. As far as we’re concerned, every day is Hump Day.

Vann: So who all is going on this trip?

Puckmosis: Elvis-Anum, Ora Z, Iggy, Bea, and Tash and Violet.

Kara: Good to see you have a warrior going along.

Puck: We hope to meet the Spice Merchants along the way, and we’ll spend the night at the Midnight Oasis, where you can bed down for the night.

Vann: So Lupinium isn’t coming along?

Puck: No, he is teaching an Advanced Tumbling class this week.

Kara: I’m sure Ora Z will provide enough chaos.

Oh boy, another mysterious door! Can’t wait to see what’s behind it!

I’m guessing the dimensional portal lying therein that leads to the world of the carefree Yarn People will be a slight problem.

There was a wrestling category the other day on Jeopardy which reminded me that it is almost April and time for Tusslemania. The new addition gives some new options as to where to hold it. Hopefully the mystery door give easy access to the rest of the cats in the house.

I’m itching to go explore the rooms with the gang!

Elvis is right. Lupin will gallop up and down those hallways forever and ever!

OT: Lou, & nephew’s new house

This addition which none of them knew was there is positively enormous! The Big Pink House must be a TARDIS (Doctor Who reference for those who may not know) — one would imagine that all these extra rooms and hallways and doors would have been visible from the outside.

One of the kids sent me this pic recently. It’s the princess at one or two months old, during her scrawny gremlin phase!

Because of the red circle, I initially misread “A door?” as “A dragon?” and wondered if it was the cats doing a “here be dragons” bit.

Through THAT door they will see all these Floating Objects !! …

Ollie & Felix find our cellar endlessly fascinating. They try to follow me down there whenever i go. Every time. It’s not like there’s a secret way outside down there, or there’s anything new, but they cannot help themselves to keep from exploring.

The door opens directly to the Time Rift in Cardiff. We are all d——-elighted!

OT Today is opening day for the STL Cardinals. This is my 35 opening day to go cheer the Cardinals to a victory. Everyone have a good day today!

The return of Domino!

I’ve mentioned Domino before, I believe: a new adult cat who has discovered I put out food morning and night. Well, Domino came by for supper again last night – and for the first time I got a glimpse of the underside of this cat’s tail.

It’s official, folks. We have a tom!
