Looking at the last panel, I think the boy may be playing “Principal’s Office” (would that be Elvis?) or “Detention” (I can see Goldie monitoring that) more than “Skool.”

The Roomba is going to school?

My God, Man (and woman), don’t you realize that machine will begin learning at an exponential rate? Soon, the Roomba might begin wondering why it’s working for us and not the other way around. What if there are other Roombas in the galaxy, and your super-smart Roomba contacts them? Then you’re talking about an invasion! It will be the end of EVERYTHING!

There’s no help, no stopping it! This world will become a burned-out, well-vacuumed cinder. We’re doomed. DOOMED, I tell you! Only the well-prepared might survive.

Pengo seems very eager and attentive.

Not sure what you can teach Tortimer

Burt is right. Too much chaos in one place could cause the classroom to collapse. I’m sure Tortimer will be a model student, though.

It’s interesting that they still call it the Nursery even though the kids aren’t babies any more. Kind of Edwardian or Victorian British.

The three catateers!

A friend has some VERY mean names for her Roomba. Of course, after your 5 year old turns it on to show his friend and lets it just go crazy – without noticing the steaming “accident” the new puppy left on the floor… You can understand her giving the little beastie (the bot , not the kid) some nasty names.

I happened to see an episode of “World’s Funniest Animals” with a calico cat sitting in a comfortable seat on top of a roomba. That show got on my nerves because of the commentary, but I’m finally giving in and they had so many cute cat videos on one of the episodes I watched.
