Ah, the ever practical Elvis! But, keep in mind, these are probably gourmet rocks. They might be worth the price.

Wafl’s probably the only real food there.

Lupin would be the perfect Busboy for their restaurant. Until the last of the plates and cups were smashed.

For a moment, I thought “WKFL” was the local radio station. Probably NPR, because what else would cats listen to on their down time? But then I read it as “wafl” and thought, oh, “waffle”.

Is he old enough to make waffles? Hot dogs may be more his speed.

Eh, it doesn’t matter when it’s pretend.

GoComics just sent me back to 2021 and I saw there was a comment by DennisInSeattle who I’ve now realised hasn’t posted in a year. Hope he(?)’s ok and just given up the comics.

@Lady Bri posted about 3 hours ago that her DH had just gone into surgery. I hope it’s all over by now and he’s had a successful outcome and is on the road to recovery!

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile Encore Presents Xanadu

Terpsichore (Kira): I’ve found a field of Crimson Clover. I’m going over there.

Queen Titania: Very well, Kira. Just be careful while you’re flying in a new place.

Kira: No problem. Be back soon

    ELO: The Fall

Kira: I fly in a new field,

    Everything’s so unreal,

    A brand-new pollen source,

And I get stuck, of course!

    …….

    In a web!

Didn’t look where I was going!

    In a web!

My first flight couldn’t go wrong

I didn’t know that a spider lived here

And now, caught in a web

    How did it go wrong,

    How can I get clear?

    I am appalled!

    Enter Spider

Spider: Kira? What are you doing here?

Kira: Arachna! I’m just hanging around.

Arachna: You weren’t looking where you were flying again, were you?

Kira: Um, no. I was just enjoying the bee dance and I got distracted.

Arachna: You and that July bug. I’m gonna run out of silk one of these days. Here, let me help you out.

Kira: Thanks. I’m gathering pollen from the Crimson Clover honey field.

Arachna: Help yourself. You can find it all over and over.

Kira: How can I ever repay you?

Arachna: Bring me a jar of honey when it’s ready, alright?

    Kira: You got it!

I love the contrast between yesterday’s GIRL-type restaurant choices (beautiful items all arranged decoratively on the table) and today’s BOY-type restaurant choices on the super cool menu! (bugs, rocks, hot dogs, waffles and poison, oh my! ) I also love that he blurts out that everything costs hundreds of dollars. Such big dreams. Priceless !

My Nephew made himself scrambled eggs when he was about 3. Shells and all. LOL Twice. Poor little guy just tossed an egg in a pan and started cooking. At least we think he was trying to scramble them. Each time he was quickly discovered. Luckily the burners were electric. And he was very careful.

I just checked Facebook. This is from someone I went to school with.

We are heartbroken Lillie took a turn for the worst last night and after taking her to the Vet today, we all agreed that she was sick and putting her to sleep would give her much peace. This was my furr baby and I am grieving for her. Our home is not the same.
