Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Might I suggest cats jump onto your person instead of dunking their phone? Use the Gracie technique of “Occupying YOUR Human.” And don’t forget to make biscuits once you have them pinned down!
I don’t have the words to express how refreshing this week’s arc has been for me. Someone mentioned Walt Kelly in an earlier comment this week. Your boys & girls carry on a version of that Okefenokee charm. Such a pleasure.
I love the cats’ expressions in panel three, so much sympathy. And I always keep the toilet seat down except when in use; it’s much safer that way for many reasons :)
Is anyone else having an issue where the page suddenly disappears and a rectangle pops up that says “I am not a robot”? Then it wants you to click to allow something. I don’t trust it so I just close out and come back here. It has happened to me on other sites as well.
I don’t need a flying car. I’d rather we have full cybernetic implants, so when your knee, hip, elbow whatever wears out, you just pop a new arm or leg or spine in there and you’re good to go. Sure, it brings the risk of Terminators, but I’m willing to take that chance.
We are living in the future, I’ll tell you how I know, I read it in the paper, Fifteen years ago, We’re all driving rocket ships, And talking with our minds, And wearing turquoise jewelry, And standing in soup lines
I swear by all that is good that I have been following this advice with this very comic for years now! This is how I start my day, NO MATTER WHAT (well, if no one is horking a hairball in front of me): before work stuff, email, anything: first I click on BCN. Tried, true, terrific!
Science fact of the day:Henry Ford built a small, lightweight airplane that would have served the same general purpose as a car. At the time, most of the infrastructure for cars hadn’t been built yet, meaning in an alternate universe, flying cars could have been developed in the early 1900s.
My dad dropped his phone in the toilet. He didn’t seem to appreciate me echoing the cell provider commercial running at the time… Can you hear me now?
Thank you, cats. Your help is appreciated and you are loved. (Please don’t knock my phone into the toilet, though. Why replace a phone when we could be buying more kitty treats?)

I just saw a video of a flying car prototype. Go to YouTube and do a search for “Kagan Dunlap” and a short about Alef Aeronautics.

Thank you Georgia, for creating Breaking Cat News! I do appreciate the gentle respite it provides from our sometimes “disturbing” daily life!

I’d love to have a flying car myself, but when I see how other people drive in two dimensions, I have grave doubts about letting them use a third.
Aspen_Bell about 12 hours ago
Thank you for this week’s program, Georgia. Sanity breaks by our cats are one of the best things for our health.

I agree with the flying cars. I’m reading an Honorverse novel, and that universe has aircars held up with countergrav.

My husband and I were just discussing flying cars yesterday and how we were told the future would have them!! I blame The Jetsons.

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
At Elvis’ Office
Master Scribe Hapi: I’m really glad you were able to help out, Bea!
Scribe Apprentice Mery: Yes. I just love to meet new people and try new things!
Beatrixia: I’m really pleased to meet you both.
Hapi: These illustrations look like different kinds of spyces. I’m wondering if this unreadable script shows instructions on how to use them.
Bea: I’ll bet Sue Chef can help us. And Iggy’s great with figuring out scripts.
Sometime Later
Sue Chef: You know, this picture looks like it could be cinnamon.
Iggy: And I think this script might be on how to use it.
Bea: Is that a picture of a donut? Could this be a recipe for cinnamon donuts?
Mery: I think it is!
Hapi: And this might be a picture of a kitt…uh soml cat wearing a donut.
Bea: I know who can help.
All: Ora Z!

One More Lost Horizon Song: The Theme
Have you ever dreamed a place far away from it all?
Where you always feel free to dream
And the cats all play in the fields of green
And the sounds of strife
Do not sound anymore?
…….
Have you ever dreamed a place far away from it all?
Where you can smile with all your friends
And all the joy never ends
And the sounds of strife
Do not sound anymore?
…….
Many miles from forever
Where there’s no need of never
Where the time is always right
There’s a lost horizon
Waiting to be found
There’s a lost horizon
Where the sounds of strife
Do not sound anymore.

I’ll be tuning in until I can no longer use a computer or mouse – I need BCN; perhaps not as much as I need air or water, but close. Very close.
