Pucky Invisibility! That monster doesn’t stand a chance now. Go Puck!

Ah, Lupin. You still won’t believe in the power of the written meow.

I think we know the identity of the monster under the bed, like Grover knew the identity of the monster at the end of his book.

And that’s exactly why I nearly stepped on Bagheera that one time. In dark places, black cats are just shadows with eyes!

Elvis does not look impressed. Lupin, meanwhile, looks amazed that someone else can turn invisible.

We’ve had some black cats pull that on us. Dozer was particularly fond of turning into two eyes gazing at us from the front hall. The brief time we got her to wear a collar added a little reflective pink heart, which was adorable, but her reaction to the collar was to attempt to chew her head off at the neck to get rid of the dang thing, so we took it off.

The microphone is a bit of a give-away, Puck.

I love how no one has batted an eye at the fact that Elvis can write and obtain an envelope and postage, whereas he actually would probably only be good at licking the seal and stamp.

The Man was watching TV in the shop office, and there were a lot of women in red swimsuits acting like lifeguards. A commercial came on and he suddenly said “That’s what I’m gonna call that new dog- Baywolf! That way folks’ll know he was named after a book, too, so he must be smart.” “Wait, wait, wait… this goof has mixed up BayWATCH with BEOWOLF?” Megan shook her head slowly; “Oh my Cat…” “Well,” Tre-C added, “I hope that ISN’T the dog they plan to fight with, because I just talked with him. He’s a really nice guy, in spite of his intimidating looks.” “Talked with? Kitten! You got that close to a yard dog?” “Megan, you’re missing the important part. I spoke with him. He understands cat, and I think he knows some Human, too.”

On a more somber note, may I please ask for prayers, orb bumps and boops of support from the Mega Orb? She just had a colonoscopy yesterday and the doctor removed several polyps and a huge one several centimeters long and sent it to pathology for analysis. I pray to God that it won’t be malignant. I just lost one parent to cancer this year.. I really don’t think I could handle losing the other……..

Why, oh why can I only like this once? The usually gentle and passive Puck steps up to do the duty that only he is able to do! Frightened or no, he will not shirk his duty! For the Toddler! For the Family!

Naked Puck! My sister’s lady cat is a small, super-silky black beauty who likes to hide under my niece’s bed, and there are definitely not monsters there.

I just realized that Elvis and Lupin are talking to each other through the split screen. LOL.

Good morning and happy Hump Day, orbsters and orbabies. Special shout out to Georgia on her birthday, may you have many, many more, dear lady!

Special hugs, bumps and boops to Lady Bri; hang in there, girl, I’m pulling for you.

And, in a fit of insanity, I have committed to make a total of 15 (count’em, 15) knitted afghans between now and next Christmas. This total includes the 4 I was already making for the cabin. I’m going to have to knit a LOT faster. Lord and Lady, speed my needles and grant more nimbleness to my arthritic fingers!

Puck is like the feral twins (I called them McDonnell and Douglas because they were both jet black) who used to hide under the oleanders near the mailbox cluster when I came home after dark, thinking they were invisible at night.

I don’t think they ever caught on that their eyes were shooting out 50,000 watt laser beams.

Had to take the van to the shop.

A compressor unit for the rear active suspension stopped working.

It’s going to cost just under $1000 to fix.

He may not do crime things but Pucky will brave any risks to protect his friends and family.

Just a short update: husband is still in hospital, not yet ready to admit he even needs help, but safe, which is a start.

I had surgery in my left hand this morning, and all seems to have gone well : )

My 5 cats are getting acclimated to the new house. One cat, Lord Peter, is playing ninja kitty among the boxes, but “someone” eats his food and uses his litter box, and there have been daily ninja kitty sightings the past couple of days.

My dog Cody also likes the new house. No news on my missing dog, Doribelle. But I have a household full of fur and love, and while have not given up all hope of finding her, I accept that she may be gone, and I am grateful for the years I had with her.

I like his neatly folded clothes next to the bed.

This reminds me of my Shadowman. I put laundry in a pile including a black towel. Came back to find him lying on it going YOU CANNOT SEE ME. From then on it was his Ninja towel. I put it in the closet so he could sleep on it. I miss you, Big Guy.
