It took him only 2 weeks to find it.

I had never seen such a big mall in Italy and the first time I came to the USA and visited one I got lost. And then there were no mobile phones. But luck did not leave me: I found the car I arrived in and waited for the people who were with me.

What’s a mall? I have a vague memory of what they were back in the Before Time.

It helps that Pig is driving the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.

I have a system for that. It’s been YEARS since I parked in mall parking because it’s been YEARS since I went  to a mall. Ditto giant sports arena. Though I did  go to a county fairground to get my vaccine. We parked in the “pig” section (which was between the “chicken” section and the “rabbit” section). Oh, and at Home Depot: Always the aisle just west of the exit door. (They’re all north of it)

Like Goat, I also recently finished a novel. Now I’m going to read another one.

It is easier to remember where you parked your car if you park it in approximately the same place every time. When Sears shut down, I had to find a new regular place to park.

if I recall, Minnesota’s Mall of America has a parking lot so big, they have some employee take your keys with fob and search for your car followed by bringing the car to you

We should throw Pig a party and celebrate with cake and ice cream.

Small victories are still victories.

I never writes down any milestones. We uses kilometres here.

There’re several apps for locating your car… Not only useful but essential…

Not an easy feat. Big Parking areas plus the fact that most modern cars look more or less the same anyway make finding YOUR car a real challenge. I miss the seventies sometimes.

If you forget where you parked your car at West Edmonton Mall, you are S.O.L. I ride my bike there and lock it up it at the same place every time.

Now I’m sad. All of my milestones involve posting comments on GoComics. :-(

Borrowed a car. Parked in a big lot. Forget where I parked they car. All I could remember it was a grey sedan…..

I’m sure Rat has millstones, not milestones.

Pig ,Make a note to yourself next time of which row you parked in . Use your phone or the old fashioned pen and paper ;-)

I always park on the same row at Wal-Mart or the supermarket

Back in ancient times when all cars had antennas there were these orange balls you got to find your car by putting them on said antennae. The problem came when EVERYBODY had one!

Does this mean Pig is on the mend?

A l-o-o-o-ng time ago I forgot where I left my car at a big mall. Had to wait until the place closed so the parking lot was empty enough to find it.

I call that playing Marco Polo with my car.

I have had none.

AND, it had a big red kayak lashed on top!

My van is 8 1/2 ft tall, I never have trouble finding it; on the other hand, the Kia can hide behind almost anything.

I remember malls.

I can relate!

It’s a victory for me if I remember all my stuff to do that week. I usually forget that something exists until right when I need to turn it in.

Back when I used to go to the mall, I always parked the car in the same spot.

pig is essentially “Radar” if this were MASH.

I finished five novels last month. It was a good series.

does that mean that until last month, Pig’s car was in the mall parking lot?

Sad part is I knew a guy who had this exact problem. He would forget which door he entered the mall from, therefore forgetting which lot he was in. One time he spent over three hours wandering the mall parking lot.

Finding your way around the Mall of American used to be really tedious. But now you have these systems that let you enter your desired location and it tells you the fastest way to get there.

Every so often i get the nagging feeling that I’ve forgotten where I parked my car. Unfortunately I haven;t owned a car in almost 30 years, so even if i did find it, it would be unlikely to run.

And I once ate all my vegetables.

…Mall?

Finishing a novel is easy. Writing one is hard.

I love how instead of how Goat is usually disappointed with how anticlimactic Pig’s achievements are, he’s actually impressed lol

I seem to remember a Seinfeld episode in which the whole gang went to a mall and couldn’t find their car after finishing their shopping. They had to wait till all the other cars had gone till theirs was the only one left standing.

The day-glow-orange ball atop my car’s antenna has saved me many a time at Costco, but the antenna is permanently bent in an arc in my garage. Maybe clear fish line guy --

I went to the mall and forgot where I parked my car.

The really embarrassing part is that it happened after I came home.

Goat finished his first novel? Lots of fiber.

When does he plan to consume another one?

Gosh! That Pig sure is smart. Wish I were so accomplished as he is….
